The burgers here hit the spot after a long day in the park, but the milkshakes are what brought us back the next day for another round. Creamy, rich, and gone too quick.

Sara's is a great place to go in the summer. The Smith hot dogs!!!! YUM! Also ice cream!!!!! Gotta love the retro 50s vibe. Not quite as awesome as The White Turkey, but if you're in the Erie area and don't want to drive out to Ohio, it's a great place!

Wife and I went to Presque Isle to ride the bike trail. we started 6 miles before Sara's and rode our way to lunch. Got 2 Smith's Hot Dogs with fries. The place was packed. I expected to wait 10 minutes to get our food. I placed my order turned around and they called my number. They have a great... More

We stopped here for dinner on August 16 after a day at the beach. We have been here a couple of times for dessert, but this was our first dinner experience. It was really busy......having said that, there were 6 of us & we got our order really quickly, 5 minutes or so. Amongst us we had chicken tenders, fries,... More

So convenient when on the Isle or at Waldemeer. I enjoyed my turkey burger - nicely seasoned, and you add your own lettuce, tomato, etc. from a condiment bar. Others in my party did not like the hamburgers. Sorry that I did not try an ice cream dessert! Loved the retro, drive-in decor!

This was our first visit, but it won't be our last! Service was quick, despite being very busy. The Chicago Italian beef sandwich was huge and delicious! Onion rings were good and crispy, and cheeseburger was good with lots of free toppings available. A very good value

I always love stopping at Sara's for the dog bar. The diner was originally located just a mile from my home in Butler, PA and it is so nice to take the step back to my childhood and reminisce while enjoying some good food. All of the kids that work here are pleasant. A must stop every trip to Erie.

This place looked like it would be great, but I wasn't impressed. The atmosphere seemed great, but the food wasn't. The hamburger seemed like it was a store bought patty and the curly fries had no taste. I used a lot of ketchup to get through my meal. It was a let down.

I get that Sara's is an institution for beach goers at Presque Isle park, but we weren't thrilled. Yes, a cool, beach town vibe. But really, the cheeseburger I had was less than average compared with other diners I frequent. Onion rings were above average, but not my best-ever. It was fun to sit outside, but its not like there's... More
