The place is nothing special inside , just 1 large room . The food was very good and large quantities though . The pancakes are enormous , the little italian sausages were delicious , the eggs and diced potato's were just ok . They were very busy w/ quick turnover time . I would go back if ever in this... This place seemed like a little wore out hole in the wall diner with a decent breakfast, but boy were we wrong! We were seated quickly and got a couple cups of fresh coffee (which was great). Ordered the Italian French toast breakfast for myself, the big breakfast for my wife. Eggs were cooked perfect and hash browns were on... More

The epitome of the diner breakfast joint. The food was on point. I had the pumpkin spice pancakes, which were delicious! My husband had the best chicken-friend steak either of us have ever tasted. Inexpensive and humble with friendly service. Highly recommend.

I had heard great things about The Breakfast place for a couple years. It was always busy, always heard good things about it and was voted Erie's BEST breakfast in 2012. I made a comment about how bad it was on Facebook to a lot of people saying give it another chance its great. My opinion is those people don't... More

We had breakfast here 7/19/14 after reading reviews here on Trip Advisor & are so glad we did. It was really easy to find, lots of parking available, we were greeted at the door & seated right away. All the staff was friendly & made sure we had enough to drink & our meals were ok. And our tummys were... More

Joe Mancuso is the owner & manager. He took time out to talk to me about the restaurant business, which he loves. I had the Eggs Benedict, and I can truthfully say it was both the best ever AND the best value.

Good food, cheap, friendly, diner atmosphere. This is a great alternative to chains. Highly recommended.

We decided to check this place out before heading home. We waited in line for about 15 minutes. I got the big breakfast and my husband got the country fried steak. Coffee was quick and never empty, and our order came out pretty quick as well. Everything tasted good, but was not over the top. Good value for your money,... More

my family of 3 came in for lunch, was seated right away, and our coffee was brought over by the host fairly quickly. But that's the only good thing out of the visit. While waiting to order, we witnessed the server placing plates on top of each other and then wiping the gravy from the bottom of the top plate... More
