Even though we live in Erie, it took us until last weekend to make it to La Bella and now we are kicking ourselves for waiting this long. First and foremost, I have to say that this is THE BEST experience that I have ever had with a restaurant catering to (medically necessary) gluten free diet. I am an avid... More

My wife and I just happened to try La Bella for dinner. It was one of the best meals we have ever had. After we ordered a warm bree starter, the server suggested we try deep fried spinach. The spinach was out of this world delicious. Next we decided to split a chicken dish and the "lasagna of the day".... More

This is the first time I have ever read a menu and been compelled to write down the ingredients for 3 menu items!! We went here fully intending to order two of those 3 items, {shrimp. chicken or salmon). When we arrived our excellent waitress. Kathy. told us about the Lasagna the chef had just finished - 15 layers of... More

This little gem could compete favorably in food trendy places like Portland, ME or Park Slope. Everything from the dipping oil to risotto were well prepared and delicious. Prices were quite reasonable. You can BYOB (State Store a mile down 18th St to the north). Interesting decor in a restored old building.

Very interesting menu, lots of unique dishes and seasonal specials. Can't say enough good about LaBella. Prices are very fair, especially considering the quality and quantity.

This is a nice quaint little Bistro Restaurant, where everything is made from scratch. Very fresh ingredients, unique and very delicious dinners. The portions are more than enough. Everyone in our party ended taking home food, they couldn't finish. Can't wait to return for more. Excellent service and very clean place. Two thumbs up!!!!

I finally found another great restaurant in Erie. The food was absolutely outstanding. The menu and chef is pretty creative, so be prepared to experience a few things outside the box. We had a fig, date, and italian sausage appetizer. As strange as it sounds, it was truly great. Their salad dressings are really amazing. There is a lot of... More

This was my 2nd visit to La Bella and I wasn't disappointed. The restaurant decor is fun, colorful and ecclectic; a breath of fresh air compared to other restaurants in Erie. The menu has a variety of fun, gourmet foods. Salad dressings are homemade, the Onion Fred is to die for. Our appetizer and dinners were all exceptional, everyone one... More
