This is probably the 6th time we have visited 1201. This time we attend the opening of Dan Kern's new open kitchen and Taco Battle with Cleveland restaurant Momocho. The space was awesome - we can't wait to have a gathering where we can use the space! The food was spectacular from both chefs! I wish I had taken pictures... More

Yay! Finally, an outstanding restaurant that I can return to when visiting Erie. I'm only in town a couple times per year, but I've been searching pretty hard for a place like 1201. My wife and I had a flight of 3 soups, two small plates, two sushi rolls, and shared desert. Everything hit the right notes of flavor, savoriness,... More

My husband and I love going here because the food it always good, service is always good. Nice wine selection. Only trouble may be parking.

Very good food and even better atmosphere! Arrangement of menu is great and allows for lots of sampling and sharing. One of the more upscale places (perhaps one of two?) to dine in Erie. Try the carnitas and the gnocchi!

Seasonal menus, creative dishes, Free Taco Tuesday! Prices are a higher than a "typical" Erie chain-restaurant, but the food, service and environment are all worth it!

We've had great dinners here and have had so-so dinners as well. The service is usually good but more than once, when the restaurant wasn't very busy, the service was terrible.

We ran fine dining restaurants in Atlanta, GA & Greenville, SC. We are are very rarely 100% satisfied with any restaurant - except 1201 Kitchen. The service (Chelsea), the decor, the food and the presentation were 100%! AND it is affordable. The Corn Bisque was so good that I want to take a gallon home, coconut milk, hints of Thai... More

1201 is a nice place to visit at least to try if you have never been. I love that they change up the menu a lot so you can experience differnt tastes. The atmosphere is nice. The one downside for me is that when the sun sets the front windows facing the NW have no shades and it is absolutely... More

Don't overlook this one! Taveling through Erie on our anniversary we read the reviews and decided to give it a go. We were greeted at the door by the owner who showed us to a cozy table in a nicely decorated restaurant. Our server, Fielding, explained that tonight, a Monday, was the first night of their new menu. Fielding proved... More

Wanted somewhere besides chains to eat... So glad we picked this one. The food was great- probably one of the best outside of Chicago or New York. The pork belly appetizer was sublime. Loved the sushi! After experiencing mediocre and over priced food in Hershey- this was a nice end to our vacation. Now this isn't the cheapest place to... More
