On a recent driving trip to Upstate New York we decided to stop for lunch so we pulled out the trusty TripAdvisor app and checked out some options. Since we were only thirtyish miles from Erie, it became the logical area. My wife and I really like funky little what we call "lake joints" (sometimes on a lake...and sometimes not)... More

I have been here a few times and the food is OK, but there is definitely nothing special about it. The only reason I go back is because it's cheap.

Get the greek omlette! It's amazing! Now, when I say Greek, I'm not talking feta cheese and olives...I'm talking greek hot dog sauce, onions, potatoes, cheese. Phenomonal !

Had a wonderful dining experience here at the dinor! Greeted with smiles from the time we walked in til the time we left. Food was hot and delicious and inexpensive too! Looking forward to going back, this time with more members of my family!!

We said we'd return, and we did! We'll be back on every visit to Erie, PA. We love the $4.19 two-egg breakfast (perfect potatoes, every time!). The best part though, is the warm reception from owner Becky and server Shanna. Their smiles are infectious, their customer service is superb, and they are truly devoted to keeping Americana alive. We were... More

This is my first time eating here, and I was pleasantly surprised! The home fries were nice and crunchy as well as tender inside. I also had a Swiss and Mushroom omelet which was delicious! Great service, good prices. I shall return!

We took Navy Veteran friends from Dayton, Ohio here and they are coming back. You come for the atmosphere and the nostalgia of eating in a railway diner. It is the only PA diner on the Register of Historic Places. The staff is terrific. Good ‘dinor’ food, good people, warm feelings.

Was not impressed could smell it half block away grease burning but went with friends that said it was fabulous. Pancakes needed to cooked a little more soft in middle not firm enough for me.

The LP Dinor is what a Dinor should be. The food is delicious, the staff is friendly, and the environment is very cozy. If you are on your way through Lawrence Park, it's definately worth a stop.

Greek burgers and greek fries were good. Coconut Cream pie had great flavor but the worst texture I can imagine. It was so think and gloppy you almost needed to cut it with a knife - the texture of lumpy library paste.
