A MUST!!

We ate at Bertrand's for Sunday Brunch. The only thing wrong, a ran out of room. The service was impeccable and the food was fabulous!! The bread pudding is to die for. You must have a reservation as we saw several people turned away.

We were looking for a French restaurant, which is not easy to find in the US, as most French Bistros are American restaurants that pretend to be French. Well, I can tell you that this one is not, this one is a proper French restaurant! We had not made a reservation, as we were originally looking for Cloud 9 wine... More

I have been here numerous times for both romantic dinners with my wife and Sunday brunch with the whole family. Every time the food has been outstanding and the service has been wonderful.

And we lucked into this gem! Mostly because it is pet friendly. Food is awesome...beautifully prepared and presented. Great selection of French wines...even by the glass. We are spoiled by fabulous restaurants in many major cities but Bertrand's Bistro can hold its own vis-a-vis the others. Totally impressed.

By far, one of the best restaurants in the Tri-state area. Service was great; and the owner (Bertrand) was very gracious. It is certainly a top choice in the Erie area.

The food here was amazing. The crêpes were fantastic; the bananas foster and pomme-verands were both worth the $22 a person brunch. The modestly sized brunch buffet had a good variety of options that were light and made with care. Excellent French fare. The service in the this tastefully charming French bistro was horrible. My wife and I waited half... More

While I don't get to eat here often, I can honestly say that this is one of my favorite restaurants in Erie! The food is amazing; daily specials are so fresh and well-prepared and the staff was extremely knowledgable about the dishes! I lived in Paris for a summer and the food here is as good as any meal I... More

A friend and I made reservations for a Friday evening. The waiter, Scott was super attentive and gave great recommendations. I was a bit confused because oil was on a plate at the table sans bread. It just sat there waiting to be dipped. We had the fromage appetizer which was excellent. But we didn't get bread until our appetizer... More
