We go to the Ephrata Diner a lot . They are always open 24/7 and 365 days a year . We always had trouble finding places open on holidays . But not anymore . This is a very large restaurant and the people that work there are always nice to you and very helpful . If you have a problem... More

I went to this restaurant last night with my family. Ordered eggs scrambled well. When my order arrived twenty minutes later, they were liquidy. I've visited this restaurant many times in recent years and its a down hill slide in both food quality and lack of service. I was embarrassed by suggesting this restaurant for my family get together. We... More

Opted for this place when we discovered the restaurant we planned to visit was no longer in business. It was a weekday lunch, and the place was quite busy with families and business people. We both had ham & bean soup, and a grilled cheese sandwich (with tomato). She ended with rice pudding and I had the tapioca pudding. The... More

Went there for coffee and dessert. Like we have done in past. Asked waitress (Julia or Julie or some name with a J ) what pies they have. The reply was they are up front in the counter, you don't expect me to know what they are do you ? No we expected her to find out what they were,... More

I have no criticisms of the Ephrata after tow visits. It's a perfectly acceptable diner with a long menu of varied selections. The broiled haddock filet and roasted half-chicken on our recent visit were both good enough for the price (about $11 each w/ salad & 2 sides),altho my partner thought the chicken just a tad dry. The stuffing it... More

Diner open 24/7. We went for breakfast, and I had an excellent omelette. Friendly service. This place is popular, and for good reason. Very good diner food.

Open 24/7, this diner seems to be a local favorite. The menu is huge, and everything seems to come with soup or fries. The food is good and basic, but nothing fancy or outstanding. The soup we had was a beef orzo. Tasty. Fries crisp. Salads are extra. Pleasant wait staff.

My wife and I have eaten here many times. Good basic diner food. Pennsylvania influenced foods like Chicken pot pie, corn fritters, and corn fritters. Be prepared for huge portions. I take half of my meal home for lunch the next day. Giant menu with many choices for both of us. A lot of bang for the buck.
