excellent food! authentic Mexican, not a fancy restaurant, service sometimes can be slow, you help yourself to your beverage choices, no beer or wine, but real Mexican Coca Cola! most menu selections are $10.00 or less. My favorite is the Shrimp burrito platter! Their freshly made pico de gallo is the BEST!!! just the right amount of cilantro and flavor.... More

If you are looking for good Mexican food without a chain restaurant atmosphere and prices, La Borimex is your stop. First, it is a combination of eatery and grocery store where you can find a mind boggling selection of dried peppers and spices for authentic Mexican dishes. There are many imported items for your eating pleasure. I love to browse... More

Excellent, authentic, inexpensive, tasty food. Nothing fancy--some booths, tables and one waitress. We had the combo burrito platter and the Alhambra steak mixed with mushrooms, peppers and onions. Both large portions for about $10 each. No liquor or beer, just soft drinks, many from Mexico in the cooler. They accept Restaurant.com coupons. Located south of Ephrata about a mile south... More

We have visited this place on numerous occasions. The food is fantastic. The environment is no frills, but we come here to partake of their delicious Mexican specialties. Other half almost always orders the enchiladas or La Borimex burritos. Seasoned perfectly. I order the tortas, also known as a sandwich, with many different filling combos. They are seriously good. Tacos are... More

My husband and I have been here twice. In my opinion the for and service was better the first time compared to the second but my husband was happy both times. They are mostly centered around Mexican food not sure why the name is Borimex. Bori is short for boricua which is an individual born on the island of Puerto... More

I love awesome hole in the wall restaurants that have authentic food! My mom and I went there for lunch on a weekday and it was hoppin'! We each ordered a lunch special. While there wasn't much of anything in my flautas, my mom loved her meal and the rice and beans were excellent! I loved that all of their... More

I had heard this place was great and it didn't disappoint. Definitely not fancy, but I actually thought the "hole in the wall" feel was really charming. We started with chips and salsa. Like all the food, they are made to order. Our chips arrived and were still hot-and tasted awesome! I had a burrito, my friend had a chimichanga.... More

Local mexican cook (family type restaurant) with home style cooking and sauces. Portions were large and it was serve yourself drinks from their store cooler. They also sell pre-package mexican condiments etc. no alcoholic drinks and relatively small with one server to take orders both for sit down and takeouts.

This place has good Mexican food. The only thing I don't like is they don't have fountain drinks nor do they serve free chips and salsa. They have a cooler you can get drinks from but none of the meals include drinks. It's a small dining area but I love the authenticity of the place!
