PERFECTION

From the sunset to the main course our meal was DELICIOUS. The tomato soup was the best ever! The staff was very accommodating from the beginning to the end....smiling, informative and cordial. The menu is definitely different but definitely fresh, organic and tasty!

This place is way over priced! It's simply a pub ambience kind of place with high end prices. Not worth it. Expect to pay $34 for a one porkchop dish. And the food is nothing to brag about. The only good thing I found in this place, casual but friendly service. Netheless to say, I won't be back and won't... More

My spouse and I dined at the Trapp Door most recently on a Saturday afternoon in mid-November 2015, but we have dined there several times over the past few years. (We were also patrons of Tap & Table, which occupied this location until 2011, as well as customers of Rumors Café back in the early 1990s). The Trapp Door is... More

We love Trapp Door! Over repeated visits, the food is consistently excellent and creative. The lengthy beer list makes it possible to try out some exquisite beer and food pairings. The charcuterie is wonderful, as are the fish dishes and other entrees.

Food choices are unique, but even their homemade french fries are great. Must make reservations if you plan on sitting down to dine, but there's usually space at the bar. A little pricey, but I've been there twice and will definitely go back.

I could not bring myself to give this place a 5, because I personally hate places like this. But even with that said, the food was great, The Wine and Beer Selection is fantastic, the service and wait staff were professional, courteous and attentive without being annoying. Back to the food, While it was flavorful, in true french bistro fashion,... More

The staff is cool, neat atmosphere, a vast list of quality Belgian Ales and others interesting beers (ask the server for a sampler to your taste), and great food! Check it out!

Two couples had dinner here last week and we sampled a lot of food. We had appetizers, meat and cheese plates, soup, sandwiches and entrees. My main observation is that they serve very generous portions of the protein (most expensive) part of the dish and are very miserly with the little extras, the accompaniments that really make a dish special.... I love the beer selection at The Trapp Door. I am picky but I always find something I like here. The food is good too, but out of my price range. If I could change anything it would be to lower the prices on their menu. Otherwise, nice vibe and the people you meet there are always friendly.

small establishment, service efficient but not overly oppressive, huge assortment of beers. As 'old' people (approaching 60) we like a place without a lot of loud background music and a place that isn't designed to be noisy. There is music but not too loud, the atmosphere is cozy. The food is delicious and different. Not run-of-the mill.
