This is a very cute small restaurant serving salads and sandwiches, and "afternoon tea type" menu items - all very interesting and unique. They utilize their kitchen garden in the back, where you can also sit, to add flavor to their dishes. This visit they were using lavender and blueberries. The portions are nice sized - not too big, not... More

Was reluctant to go there but my wife wanted to try it. The idea of flower jelly and fruit on sandwiches seemed weird. Ended up being pretty good. Even my kids liked it. Only drawback for me was the price. A little higher then you would expect to pay for a sandwich with chips. All in all, good if you... More

The interior is homey and comfortable. The menu has some unusual and unique items which I like. However, the high price is out of alignment with the small portions. We both left still hungry. Although different and tasty, the sandwhich was small and thin, with just a few chips on the side, nothing more. With the price charged, there should... More

Delicious food, very sweet staff, adorable atmosphere. We came here for Mother's Day brunch and had a wonderful time. Service is a bit slow, other than that, highly recommended. Can't wait to come back and try sitting in their courtyard!

2 people, two orders of french toast and some coffee...food was good and coffee was freshly made. The atmosphere is that of an old house that has a hodge podge of old furniture and cheap plastic plates that are reminiscent of a college cafeteria. The staff was very nice, and this is the epitome of the "Mom and Pop" shop,... More

I decided to give this place a try after my teenage daughter raved about it. I can see why she did. We ate there on a Fri night and were able to get a seat without having to wait. When I walked into this adorable restaurant, I felt like we were stepping back in time. It was beautifully decorated and... More

Beautiful little family owned gem with a lovely working kitchen garden and patio seating. The real star here is the imaginative and delicious menu which changes in order to feature fresh, seasonal ingredients. The sandwiches are culinary masterpieces. I adore this place and love taking family and friends alike.

Delightful, slightly old-fashioned small restaurant in an old house with a darling little garden behind. Decor is pleasantly old fashionned and attractive. We sat on the lovely back patio surrounded by green things and hummingbirds. The food is wonderful. I had blueberry lemonade and a BLT and the tomato was literally perfect. My friend had something very nice involving turkey... More

I was introduced to Flowers in the Kitchen a couple of years ago. I have since returned, and plan another visit next month. The decor is vintage and casual. On my first visit, I had the Verbena [sandwich]. It was so good! Turkey and provolone on brown sugar bread with blueberry jam and cream cheese. Sounds like an odd combination,... More
