Exceeded expectations

Visiting a relative in nearby Masonic Village needed place for dinner nearby. Heard pickings in E-town were ok, but Rockwell's was good. When we arrived we were encouraged by full parking lot and thought here comes big wait. Nope. There is an enormous deck and half inside outside area. It was like... read more

We arrived at 9:00 and didn't have to wait to sit on the deck; the place was dead! Our drinks took too long to arrive, so did our appetizers of crab soup (which had like no crab) and rhino fries. We waited at least 20 minutes for apps. Then it took forever for our food to come out as well,... More

TJ Rockwell's always delivers good food. The menu is mainly "bar'" type food. They have entrees, like diinners, that are good. Service has alwasy been very good. Love this place in nnice weather. The deck is really nice.

This is a great restaurant for outdoor dining this summer. They must have 100 seats on various levels of decks as well as a covered seating area that is open to the outdoors on one side. They also have outdoor bars on the decks if you're just stopping in for a beverage. There's even a small playground to entertain the... More

I thought that the food was delicious, particularly the Rhino Fries. My entire family loved their meals as well. Our waitress was quiet, but very friendly nonetheless. The atmosphere was nice enough for a nice dinner, but not overly fancy.

Place is very popular and usually has a good crowd. Popular place to hangout with friends and family as deck is large and place is friendly. Lately the food has been so-so and the presentation just so-so. Prices are a little high, but not outrageous. Beer selection is very good with many craft beers to choose from.

It's probably good all year round, but in nice weather, the outdoor dining is great. They have truly outdoor tables, with umbrellas for shade, and lots of them. They have an outdoor bar. They have a covered area with huge garage doors that open, making the area a covered outdoor area, like a pavilion. And they have an indoor dining... More

I'm writing this review from TJ Rockwell's parking lot, waiting for my husband to get his credit card back from paying. The food was decent, certainly not homemade or anything to write home about. But the service was so terrible it overshadowed anything else. The host staff and our waitress were terribly unfriendly. It was almost as if they were... More

This place has very inconsistent food. One time you have something its very good and the next its terrible. The rhino fries obviously are good.

First off, the picture shown is not the Rockwell's in E-town, I believe that is the Mechanicsburg location. Second, stopped for a get together last night and, as usual, the food was good, nothing spectacular but the service was SLOW, as usual. When you go just plan on spending some time.
