Entertainment was outstanding

One night we were there, they ran out of most popular brands like Miller Lite, Corona and Molson Canadian which is inexcusable. The owner is an aficionado of craft beers, so he didn't seem to care about the more mundane brews.

Pros: I will say that I find their food tasty and not the norm. Their beer selection is quite large. Cons: although the food is tasty it is over priced. Major con: The beer is way over priced. They have a big selection but I can get the same beer a few miles away for a lot less money. They... More

This is a restaurant that we often drove by and said, "Hey, we should try that sometime." I'm glad that we finally did. I wasn't quite sure what to expect, but now that we've sampled a few things, I will order with far more confidence. The flavor combinations and unique twists are quite delicious without going so far as to... More

If you just want a beer at the bar, this place may be fine as the selection included some unique selections. While the reviews were mostly positive, the reality was very different. With a virtually-empty restaurant early in the evening, the drink order was taken well after being seated and the drinks were even slower to arrive (mostly just beer).... More

It was my second time to the Black Gryphon. Toeny, the owner, is friendly, funny, and an amazing chef. First visit was to attend rock and roll food, wine, and beer pairing event which was AWESOME. Second visit was to perform in local cast of the Vagina Monologues. He did a three course meal and the dessert was cupcakes decorated... More

On a road trip to Exton, we stopped at this restaurant for dinner. It was a Saturday night and there were only 4 other occupied tables besides us - which worried us a bit. But we were pretty impressed by the menu - it is very eclectic - so we were excited thinking we had stumbled on a hidden gem.... More

Just to clarify, this was the response that was left via the rewards network...again, no making excuses, which is clearly stated...thank you for your feedback. "Sorry to hear about your disappointment with your dining experience on 10/3. Unfortunately, we had a server stop showing up that week, which left us terribly short staffed and we had a big crowd that... More

The food was very good and unique. The beer list, extensive. The best part of the experience was the interacting with the owner. What a cool dude. He came and sat at our table while explaining the beer he has (which is not your run-of-the-mill brews). He is very passionate about beer and his business and is very creative. Visit!... More

A little pricier than we normally spend, but the menu is imaginative and the food is quite good. Favorites, so far, are the Asian Pork Belly Sliders in Steamed Buns (scrumptious), and the Wilbur Chocolate Buffalo Hot Wings (INCREDIBLE!!).

This is the restaurant you should be going to instead of wasting your money at Rockwells. Dishes are creative and interesting. My family loves the chocolate wings which I have reviewed before. Tonight I had ginger and green tea creme brûlée, kind of an Asian version of the classic. Warm, gingery goodness. Amy was a great server. Very knowledgeable and... More
