Went there on Monday night but the tavern was severely understaffed. The only visible help was the waittress and occasionally the bartender. Sat at a table that had not been bussed and had to wait 15 minutes (and three stop by's) before it was bussed. The waitress who bussed the table was also getting drinks for her patrons from the... No doubt this establishment could be bigger, BUT, that might take away some of it's atmosphere. The food is terrific, and you can go either way, standard burger-like fare or exotic. Portions are plentiful and tasty. Drinks are outstanding! In the fall, the pumpkin martini is great, now I'm hooked on the Mangotini's. Tried the Tiramisu tini and it was... More

Our family has frequented Stemies for the last five years. Great pub food. Consistent. Food servers and bartenders are professional and attentive. Clean beer taps - which you do not find with most of the less than stellar chain outfits. Only complaint are the cheesy Harley signs in the men's room.

The family has passed this place many times, often wondering about going there. Nice old Stone building. Inside is very rustic. Not much seating. Did not go beyond the bar so not sure how much seating is beyond that. We asked the waitress if it was haunted and she said , "Your in the Right Place". The ghost is a... More

If you are looking for a great place that has consistently good food look no more. You may have to wait to be seated. It's not very roomy.

Grew up in Palmer Township back in the 70s and never stepped foot in the place. 30 years later, I found myself back in the area to visit childhood friends and we wound up at the 1818 Tavern for a bite. Excellent! The Delmonico sandwich is superb. Good service, nice atmosphere, ...really a neat little place.

A cozy place with history to grab some drinks with friends. They have an extensive martini list. The large fireplace is often found lit to give this pub an even cozier feeling. The exposed stone walls are beautiful throughout.

I ordered pumpkin martini, clam steamers, and crabcake sandwich. Everything was very good. Especially, martini was excellent! Server was very friendly and nice, too. I'll definitely go back there.

This is a small neighborhood pub. The building is a charming old stone building with a lot of exposed stone on the inside. It was packed the night we visited. The tables are very close to each other and we felt like we had to squeeze through to find an open table. Every seat at the bar was occupied and... More
