This place went out of business in 12/13. Out of business. No longer there. Too bad. It was great. A Japanese place is there now. Plum House.

I have been dying to get this place, I've heard so much about it- all amazing, nothing ever bad or even mediocre, but I got there and it is closed. Now in it's place is a place called the Japanese Plum House. Sad to see it gone- wish I could have tried it!

I recently drove by the restaurant and it was closed. It has subsequently reopened as the Plum House restaurant, which is Japanese oriented and BYOB. I just wanted to alert anyone intending to dine at Megs and Mads of the change in ownership. I gave the restaurant only one star because of its closure.

Unfortunately they have closed. New sushi restaurant called Plum now open in the same location. I have not been there yet. This has been a problematic location for a while. Parking is always an issue. Also, it is difficult for small restaurants without a liquor license to make it.

Don't drive downtown for an amazing meal... Look closely, you could easily pass it up. My wife and seven friends were in for dinner on Saturday night and we were all delighted to find something for every taste. The wine that we brought didn't even compare to how good the food was. Very intimate decor, similar to eating with family... More

When you walk into this restaurant and notice the cheap tables and chairs and bad layout, don't worry, it must be the reason why they can serve such good food at a decent price. The chef is the owner and a great cook. I've been there a hand-full of times and have always left satisfied. The salads are fresh and... More

megs and mads is a reliable little spot tucked away on college hill. the food is consistently good and more interesting than a lot of the local fare in the lehigh valley. the staff is friendly and accommodating. that being said, i don't actually enjoy dining IN the restaurant as much as i could. the space is clearly a converted... The fresh food and presentation makes this place a winner. Food explodes with favor. BYOB makes this resturant more affordable. This resturant in NYC would be double the price..Good value and good atmosphere. I will say though sitting in the back by the open kitchen was a bit warm.

Went with my family to celebrate my dad's birthday. I had never been here and was skeptical because I hadn't heard of it either. I guess I need to get to Easton more! Well, I know I will now with this as a dining destination. BYOB. Converted row house that is very unassuming from the outside. Inside it is a... More
