Good Food

A good meal to have with the family and to enjoy the nostalgia of car hops. Their milkshakes are to die for. They are so creamy and thick

Have been coming here almost every summer for years. I don't get the negative reviews. It is not a top notch restaurant, but it does what it does well. It is a charming place with good burgers and fries, friendly service, and comes in an old fashioned drive through. There is no better place in this area to get a... More

Finally stopped by for a meal. This place takes you back. Way back. The food was good. Burger and fries. Eating in the parking lot with car hops is still a treat. The place was packed. Alot of family's and excited kids. Give it a try when You're in the area.

What a disappointment. A 50 year old country BBQ roadside stop. Drive-in style, served in your car. Very nice ladies serving you. Unfortunately, the pleasure ended there. The BBQ pork sandwich was dry with no sign on BBQ. The chicken tender was more like a piece of funnel cake on a roll. The french fries were small and not tasty.... More

Burgers are really good. Fries are ok. You pay for the atmosphere of a drive in restaurant where you are waited on and eat in your car. Outside looks like it could use a good cleaning. Car Hops are always friendly. Service can be slow especially if it is crowded. It is only open 10 months a year (Closed Dec... More

We've been making the Red Rabbit a habit for decades and it's beloved by our children and grandchildren. The burgers are great as are the chocolate shakes. I was a big fan of its Harrisburg predecessor, the Barbecue Cottage and it's my sentimental favorite for my birthday dinner every year. Amish family offers nice baked goods there, too

Enjoy your Bunny burger and fries with extra dust. The real reason to go is to enjoy the car hop retro feeling of the place. For what you get the food is overpriced but again it is a neat place to going every now and then.

If you are in the area just north of Harrisburg PA on Rt. 322 and just off of Rts. 11/15 you need to stop. They are only open 9 months of the year and still have car hop service. The food is exactly how you remembered drive-in food before the chains! Try the Bunny Burger and ask for the poppy... More

I only order one thing at this restaurant and it's because it's too good not to get...the Bunny Burger. You must ask for it on a poppy seed bun though. I also order a large fry and a large birch beer. The portions are not huge but are sufficient enough that I'm full afterwards. Their sundaes and milkshakes are also... More

I've been a customer of the Red Rabbit for the last 49 years starting on the first week they opened. I even worked there as a teenager. Is the food great? I won't say great but I would say very very good. The secret is of course is the "Bunny Dust" seasoning which is applied to all the burgers and... More
