Stopped by for lunch

My family and I have driven past the Red Rabbit countless times and finally decided to stop for lunch. It is a drive-in style experience where they hang the try from your window. The waitress greeted us quickly and told us how to order. We had the Bunny Burger which was good and the French fries... read more

My daughter and I discovered this place on the way home from a Penn State college visit. We stopped for ice cream, and; it was the best soft serve I have ever had. The ice cream was creamy, the chocolate flavor was perfect and it was a nice sized cone. We decided to go back today for ice cream and... More

Growing up in North Central Pa I remember driving by this place back in the late 60's on our way to the shore. By the luck of the draw I happened to be passing by and finally stopped. Thankfully it was on a Saturday as this place is only open on the weekends. They must be doing something right to... More

Went past this place for many years and finally stopped for the first time a couple weeks ago. The car service was convenient and the server was very friendly. The menu is pretty standard burger/fries type deal. The Bunny Burger was very good and the milkshake was outstanding. In nice weather, there is limited outdoor seating available at picnic tables... This place has been around for years. A great drive up eatery with delicious burgers, fries and milkshakes. Don't forget to ask for "bunny dust" on your fries!

Love Bunny Burgers and extra dust! Ok...I did work there in high school and grew up in Duncannon but that was 25 years ago. I love the Rabbit when I was a kid and still do. Places like this are rare and should keep going. The Rabbit retains the 50's feel with car hops and old fashioned food. The owners... More

A good meal to have with the family and to enjoy the nostalgia of car hops. Their milkshakes are to die for. They are so creamy and thick

Have been coming here almost every summer for years. I don't get the negative reviews. It is not a top notch restaurant, but it does what it does well. It is a charming place with good burgers and fries, friendly service, and comes in an old fashioned drive through. There is no better place in this area to get a... More

Finally stopped by for a meal. This place takes you back. Way back. The food was good. Burger and fries. Eating in the parking lot with car hops is still a treat. The place was packed. Alot of family's and excited kids. Give it a try when You're in the area.

What a disappointment. A 50 year old country BBQ roadside stop. Drive-in style, served in your car. Very nice ladies serving you. Unfortunately, the pleasure ended there. The BBQ pork sandwich was dry with no sign on BBQ. The chicken tender was more like a piece of funnel cake on a roll. The french fries were small and not tasty.... More
