What a disappointment. A 50 year old country BBQ roadside stop. Drive-in style, served in your car. Very nice ladies serving you. Unfortunately, the pleasure ended there. The BBQ pork sandwich was dry with no sign on BBQ. The chicken tender was more like a piece of funnel cake on a roll. The french fries were small and not tasty.... More

Burgers are really good. Fries are ok. You pay for the atmosphere of a drive in restaurant where you are waited on and eat in your car. Outside looks like it could use a good cleaning. Car Hops are always friendly. Service can be slow especially if it is crowded. It is only open 10 months a year (Closed Dec... More

We've been making the Red Rabbit a habit for decades and it's beloved by our children and grandchildren. The burgers are great as are the chocolate shakes. I was a big fan of its Harrisburg predecessor, the Barbecue Cottage and it's my sentimental favorite for my birthday dinner every year. Amish family offers nice baked goods there, too

Enjoy your Bunny burger and fries with extra dust. The real reason to go is to enjoy the car hop retro feeling of the place. For what you get the food is overpriced but again it is a neat place to going every now and then.

If you are in the area just north of Harrisburg PA on Rt. 322 and just off of Rts. 11/15 you need to stop. They are only open 9 months of the year and still have car hop service. The food is exactly how you remembered drive-in food before the chains! Try the Bunny Burger and ask for the poppy... More

I only order one thing at this restaurant and it's because it's too good not to get...the Bunny Burger. You must ask for it on a poppy seed bun though. I also order a large fry and a large birch beer. The portions are not huge but are sufficient enough that I'm full afterwards. Their sundaes and milkshakes are also... More

I've been a customer of the Red Rabbit for the last 49 years starting on the first week they opened. I even worked there as a teenager. Is the food great? I won't say great but I would say very very good. The secret is of course is the "Bunny Dust" seasoning which is applied to all the burgers and... More

Hit the Red Rabbit yesterday on the latest of many trips here over the years. The bunny burger is the best! It's a bacon cheeseburger with a special sauce, which is oh so tasty. Yes, they are a little more expensive than they could be, but you do get the whole experience of being waited on in your car, and... More

Okay, maybe the burgers are a little pricey but to have a meal and remember a time without the internet, facebook and smartphones is to me priceless. Good food, great service and a trip down memory lane. What's not to love?

This place is a Perry County institution. Food can be picked up or enjoyed on site in your car like a 1950's drive-in diner. It is only open from Friday-Sunday and it rightfully crowded. Burgers, fries, and shakes are the norm. I recommend the Bunny Burger. It is not as cheap as some other places, but it is better for... More
