Decided to go for lunch and have a hot sub sandwich. The food was hot but the Buns were at least day old with the bread falling apart. It was obvious it was reheated in a microwave to soften it up. I should have asked for a bowl and ate it with a fork. The waitress seemed as if she... More

Owned by a family that owns a butcher shop. The beef was tender, cooked exactly right, and good sized. It has a western theme but, once you get past that, the service was very good and the prices were excellent. Would definitely go back if in the area.

Great steak dinner! Don't judge a book by its cover - the inside of this Steak House is inviting and warm. We started with the French Onion soup and it was delicious, perfect for a cold winter's eve. Our NY Strip was cooked exactly to our liking. We finished with tiramisu for dessert, and it was delicious. Great beer selection,... More

First time I ate dinner there it was the ribs and said I would not go back. However, family made Thanksgiving reservations there and the buffet was bountiful and at a great price. No complaints with the buffet.

We stopped in DuBois for night - Hampton Inn recommended this restaurant since we didn't want a chain. The restaurant is in old part of town. Funky old cowboy theme but clean and bright. Lots of locals; casual attire. We both had prime rib with salad. Salad was good; great dressing and served with warm bread - yum! Meat was... More

There are not too many (non chain) restaurants in DuBois to choose from. During our annual fall trek to see the Elk, we always stop at Fort Worth. The food is always good as is the service. It's not fancy, unless you consider the dining alternatives in this town.

The Fort Worth is another family owned restaurant in DuBois. The facility is clean and comfortable. The food is prepared as ordered and the value is good.

Excellent wings with 25 to 30 styles and many choices of sides. Pub/bar heritage atmosphere and also booths. It is a heritage hotel with old pictures etc. We were only in area and went there twice.

My family (15 members) had a reservation on a Sat night in Feb for 6:30pm and experienced the absolute worst dinner of our lives. We should have gotten up and WALKED OUT! The service and food BOTH sucked! It took over an hour just to get bread at our table then we actually had to ask if we were ever... More

...it's too far from Gobbler's Knob for his short legs, but you can. As others have pointed out the exterior isn't the most inviting, but inside is nice enough and they had the heat on! Wide selection of beer, small wine list, moderately priced. The food was good. We each had a DeMonico which was med. rare, as requested. No... More
