I ate here with a large family group. Most people ordered pizza, stromboli, etc. No complaints from anyone, mostly compliments. The tavern pizza was awesome...much better ( less greasy, crust cooked better) than Senape's. The stromboli was huge and filled nicely with good quality cold cuts. The surprise for me was how delicious the pumpkin ravioli with a brown butter... More

We all got chicken franchise and it was horrible. Tasted like they put 9 cups on lemon juice on it and we didn't say much about it because we didn't want to be rude and they did nothing about it. Didn't even say sorry. Horrible boss

If you are hungry for Stromboli this is your place! They have the BEST STRAMBOLI in the entire area and their Pizza is like it was 35 years ago...Delish! Very Good and Consistent! Keep it up and you will be around for another 30 years!

The first time I went I ordered a cheese steak, the steak was dry, I had asked for peppers onions and sauce, it had none of the above except for steak. I figured I would give them another shot, I ordered the mozzarella and chicken salad, for $8.00 the size was disappointing, it was the size of a house salad... More

For an area like the greater Hazleton area with Italian restaurants on almost every block, you would expect at least passible food. The pizzas are just Ok and the chicken and veal dishes are very disappointing. With all the other choices in the area, pass on this one.

I can't speak to the experiences of previous reviewers, but I have never had a bad meal from this place. And I think the pizza is great! I love the crust and it's always hot and fresh. Maybe not the best cheesesteaks but I grew up in Philly, so nothing compares. They also have a great selection of beers, local... More

Not sure why so many people eat here. Pizza is horrible Pasta dishes are made from sauce out of a jar . Meatballs are frozen i had possibly one of the worst cheesesteaks ever at this place. On a positive note they do have a good beer selection. Just can't get any worse than this place

Pizza still good but rest of food gone way downhill. Family feud overshadow legacy. Former owner rolling over in grave. A mess.

My wife and I went here for supper last night. We're somewhat new to the area and are grieving the loss of Balzano's in Bloomsburg. Balzano's was our special little italian place and now they ruined it by moving to a new location. Anyway, we like that it is a family-owned Italian restaurant. we had their pizza and Stromboli before... More
