We went there with our family for lunch. Place is too small only a couple of tables, but it would of been ok if we got a good service and good food. Service ended at the cashier desk where you pay for the food before you even get it, food tasted terrible. Never knew that you can mess up a... More

My whole family loves hickory kitchen. My children love the corn dogs, chicken fingers, applesauce and fries. My husband love s the pulled pork . You would think that since it is a BBQ restaurant that it would not be good for vegetarians. That would be totally wrong!!! I am a vegetarian and love to go, they have a wide... More

I've driven by this restaurant many times, but never stopped in. I read the reviews here on TripAdvisor and found their huge menu on their website. We decided to give it a try for lunch today. I am seriously considering going back for dinner tonight... Right when you walk in, you can feel the cozy atmosphere - it's not too... More

Spectacular BBQ options. I am a true southern BBQ connisseur and I highly recommend pretty much everything on the menu. It all seems to be homemade and they haven't missed a touch. 5 stars for sure. You haven't lived until you visit the hickory kitchen.

Hickory Kitchen is new to a site that has been through a lot of owners. By far the best breakfast sandwiches you can find made fresh to order and within walking distance of the courthouse. Mike is a great guy and will have you coming back again and again. Haven't had too many lunch items, but I do see a... More

The food here is delicious, although maybe just a little heavy on the seasoning and smoke. But, that's a personal comment, as it IS a BBQ restaurant. The service is counter ordering and then table delivered by very nice people. On weekends, the breakfasts are delicious.

The pulled pork egg and cheese at the Hickory Kitchen is the worlds best breakfast sandwich. Don't waste time anywhere else.

I love supporting local businesses. I was so excited to try out a new Barbecue place while on vacation with my husband. We love making our own BBQ at home too (on a smoker). We got the meat platter 3 ways and the 1/2 rack of ribs. The ribs definitely tasted "smokey" and had a good rub on them. However... More

Good food at a decent price. Real good bbq. Great choice of sauces. Good rub on the brisket and ribs. Loved the maple chipotle sauce. The brisket was great. Would definitely return. Friendly service. The only minor negative is the use of styrofoam plates and plastic silverware. It might keep the cost down by saving on labor, but the food... More
