I stop in at Hickory Kitchen regularly. There is a wide variety of selections - barbecue, vegetarian, burgers, salads, soups, great desserts and more. Friendly staff, nice casual atmosphere, and good prices. What more could you ask? And it's BYOB. Try it!

We stopped on a rainy afternoon for an early dinner. The place was empty at the early hour, but we had great food. Starting with the fried pickles followed by a burger and turkey sandshich.

The brisket and pulled pork are just wows in this modest cafe, that gets crowded at lunch. Fun service and great food ... what else would you want?

Great sandwich and tasty extras; lots of variety for a small place. Priced right. Owner/manager has designed the menu and built the recipes, takes orders and his able assistant whips up the food. Simple, quick, and tasty.

The mention of vegetarian fare got me in the door and they do have a nice selection. I had Brigitte's Vegetable Wrap and it was good. The place is small, friendly, efficient and has good vibes. I would return.
