My girlfriend and I recently made our first visit to The Orangery, as part of her birthday celebration. We were highly impressed!!! The food, service, and atmosphere were absolutely excellent. I would definitely recommend this place for a special occasion, or if you just want a great meal in a beautiful, relaxed setting. Some reminders before you go: 1) It... More

It's utterly delicious. But read the menu first, because you get what they've made. I've never put a non-yummy bite in my mouth, but good to know ahead of time just in case you don't like mushrooms, can't eat shellfish, etc. The BYOB with no corking fee saves a lot of money as well. Go. You will not be disappointed

We had an absolutely delightful and delicious evening at Orangery. The 5 course fixed price menu of the evening was sophisticated and yet comfortable. We were 5 adults, including my son who was home visiting from college for the weekend. My son can be a bit picky and yet he loved every course. To quote him- "this is like lasagna... More

We had dinner at the Orangery at Glen Isle with another couple recently. Our meal consisted of seafood items for each course and was excellent. The website listed a five course meal but we ended up with an additional course. The portions were the perfect size so that we were satisfied at the end but not over full. The chef's... More

I dined in this restaurant with my wife and two of my cousins. The ambience and service are good. The food could be slightly improved. The pasta course had a filling which was too rich; the dessert was half-hearted. The price is fair for a five course menu. My overall rating of this restaurant is between avg and very good........ We ate here with a group of friends and none of us were disappointed. Fixed price menu, $50, with five courses plus dessert. It's a byob which makes it an excellent value given the quality of food and excellent service. If you have allergies or are very picky stay away because there are no off menu options. The meal started... More

I discovered this place by attending a wedding luncheon here and just thought it was so neat. I love old historical buildings so obviously that had a wow factor but our whole experience was great. It's a set menu so check the website first and it's also only open 3 nights a week by reservation thru the website only. I... More

This family run restaurant is only open a few nights a week and it's BYOB and cash only. The menu is fixed, you have no real choices, so no decisions to make! I think we had six courses including two desserts. The food was good and well prepared. the service was very good and folksy. The outdoor patio is really... More

We went for jazz night and sat outside. It was a great night, very romantic. I don't know if I would like being inside, it was very well lit. That may have been because of the jazz trio playing. Everyone was very nice. Only criticism of the food was the main course-pork-was just OK. Everything else great. I think they... More

Our children arranged a family birthday dinner for my husbands birthday. The restaurant accommodated a large group about 16 guests. Guests loved the atmosphere, food was delicious and staff attentive and accomodating. Owner stopped by to chat and give us a little history on the building which is being restored by him. Al fresco available in good weather and I... More
