Excellent BYOB Restaurant

We have been looking forward to having dinner at Amani's. The menu something for all food tastes. Our table enjoyed the flavorful dishes including goat cheese dumplings, lamb ribs, gazpacho, short ribs, crab cakes and tuna. All very tasty. Great homemade desserts - best cherry pie I ever had... read more

My husband took me here for my birthday. The wait staff was friendly, and I love that it is a BYOB. I found the menu to be limited, and when our dishes delivered, extremely overprices. We ordered lettuce wraps as an app. Four boston lettuce leaves with small amounts of honey glazed chicken: $12, and grilled lamb ribs which were... More

My wife and I frequent many BYO's in Philly and the Main Line, and this is easily on par with some of the best one's out there. The food that comes out of their open kitchen is phenomenal. Highly recommend.

My husband and I went to Amani's for my birthday. I love trying new places and I LOVE good food. We were pleasantly surprised in the quality of food as we dat outside on a corner in Downingtown. The large tree blocks all of the traffic and the overhead strung lights adds to the atmosphere. Food is fresh and perfectly... More

Amazing lunch - tomatillo gazpacho, wilted spinach salad with fried egg. The best free form cherry pie I have ever had. The service is wonderful, and they now have a byob cocktail menu for mixers. I can't get back soon enough.

This is definitely a special occasion dining experience - just know, you can easily spend over $100 on the bill, but the food is extremely good. All of Amani's food is prepared fresh and is also locally-source and primarily organic - you can taste the difference. I ordered their main chicken dish, and I've never tasted a more juicy and... I fully enjoyed the entire experience. When the food is that great, it is an experience. It's truly worth saving for!

We tried out Amani's BYOB for a Sunday brunch for our first time visit. The restaurant looks like it was originally a pizzaria that was slightly remodeled. While maybe they could have done a little more during the remodeling efforts, the tables were neatly set with linens and cloth napkins. The brunch menu had nice options and was only slightly... My husband and I recently went to Amani's for the first time. The food and service were both incredible- the menu unique and varied. For the prices, I expected more atmosphere...it reminded me a very nice cafe. The table next to us had two screaming toddlers and the dress of the clientele was extremely casual ( baseball cap) The restaurant... More

My husband and I had a wonderful meal at Amani's. The atmosphere is a little cramped and noisy, but still enjoyable. We thought the calamari and crab spring roll appetizers were excellent. Our entrees did not disappoint - we loved the snapper with apple/poblano hash and the pork chop with figs and risotto. We enjoyed the wine we brought and... More
