Description: Out of the Fire Cafe is a family owned and operated casual restaurant...
Out of the Fire Cafe is a family owned and operated casual restaurant serving New American cuisine year round. We have been creating flavors amidst laughter and friends since the year 2007. The Cafe is tucked into the Laurel Highlands of Pennsylvania, conveniently located near area ski resorts, Frank Lloyd Wright's Fallingwater and Kentuck Knob, numerous state parks, and the rushing Pennsylvania Turnpike. Out of the Fire Cafe welcomes guests with an open kitchen where guests are able to peer into a mesmerizing scene of flashing flames and artistic finesse. The spacious dining area is complimented by an incredible view of the Laurel Highlands ridgeline. Deck dining is offered when the weather permits giving diners the opportunity to take in the rolling countryside. We are a Bring Your Own Beer or Wine establishment so don't forget to snag your beverage of choice. For a reservation please call the phone number listed below.

The service was excellent, our waitress, Hope, was attentive but not obtrusive. The food runner was surly and never introduced himself. The food was good, trending toward seafood entrees. We stopped for Sunday dinner around 4:30PM, during the transition from lunch to dinner. It was not yet crowded but there were several tables. We started with the Soy & Ginger Glazed Mini Pork Shanks, served with spicy rice noodle salad, peanut sauceand the oysters rockefeller with toast as appetizers. (We were unaware of the dinner entrée menu at that... More

After a visit to Falling Waters, the Frank Wright house, we stopped for lunch prior to heading home. This understated restaurant had a superb menu, excellent food, good service and reasonable prices.portions. Suitable for a Zagat rating my wife had a special chicken sandwich and I had their smoked salmon special sandwich. Mussels were well presented, the sweet potato fires... More

Our B and B recommended coming to Out of the Fire. Had a table at the window. Lovely views over the country. Soups were very fresh and delicious. Main courses were very enjoyable with big portion sizes.

Pulled off at this exit for lunch, but didn't want fast food. This delightful place is close to the exit, but is pretty and delicious. Great lunch menu: I enjoyed a salad with mixed greens, candied pecans, strawberries, feta, etc.; my husband had a sensational Reuben. We enjoyed lunch on their deck overlooking a decorative pond and flower boxes. What... More

I loved this place. But recently on a Friday night, with a party of four we has a reservation for 7:30. We were seated promptly, greeted by Joe our waiter and a bottle of wine opened. About ten minutes later we placed our order. Three appetizers and four meals. Our appetizers were delicious, pesto mussels, grilled watermelon salad and lobster... More

Great dinner at Out of the Fire Cafe while staying at Seven Springs (15 minutes away). Best restaurant in the area. Fish, poultry, beef all were very flavorful and perfectly prepared. BYOB only - $3 per person charge.

We found this restaurant on "Trip Advisor". It had great reviews, so we decided to try this restaurant on our way to Ohio. We had lunch the 9th of July. The food and service was excellent! A mushroom soup to die for, and an excellent hamburger and pork BQ. We were so excited that we decided to eat there again... More

My husband and I visited this restaurant last year and loved it. We have to travel to the area once per year and the thought of visiting the restaurant was a highlight for this year. Unfortunately, I ordered off the specials menu - cobia fish - and it came floating in a pool of thick soy. It was inedible and... More

We made reservations here to celebrate our anniversary. We were aware that it was BYOB, so we brought a bottle of wine with us. However, I also asked for a Diet Coke and my fiance asked for a sprite. The waitress told us they did not have any pop?!? So, if you are not a wine drinker, be prepared to... More
