New menu mostly good

My wife and I try to get to this spot about one a month-we live about 2.5 hours away. We are never disappointed. The food is great-I usually get the roast duck and she Aries her choices more. This past weekend the restaurant introduced a new menu-from appetizers to salads and entrees. We learned... read more

This place is in the middle of nowhere. Very nice place that can get a little noisy. Food is very good and portions are HUGE. The salad was enough for a meal. Definitely a place to split plates. Bring your own wine for $3pp charge-a bargain. service good and parking plentiful. I would eat here a lot if we lived... More

This was a great place to end the old year and to bring in the new one. On this particular evening, we were offered a fixed-price dinner of five courses (plus intermezzo); we had a selection of items offered with each course. The place is byob, so come prepared.

We were staying nearby for a visit to Fallingwater, and--to be honest--we were not expecting to find a place to eat that was anything special. But a short drive away, and here we were! Eating truffle roasted cauliflower! And four types of hummus! And creative delicious salads! And a perfectly cooked steak! Plus the atmosphere was warm and cozy and... More

Wow! Another holiday drive down the PA turnpike with the family disagreeing about where to stop for lunch and BAM! We find Out of the Fire on Trip Advisor. We had delicious food & excellent service from Brianna. The soup, sandwiches & tacos knocked us out- EVERYTHING. made from scratch. Looking forward to our next road trip!

I'm glad we stopped at this place on the way to Fallingwater. This was the perfect location for a small, fantastic lunch at a reasonable price. The beef barley soup - to die for! This is hands down the best beef barley soup I have ever had. The broth was tasty and hearty, the beef was real and cooked just... More

We were here with a group tour so I don't know about prices (included in our package) but the food was delicious...love the mushroom soup. I had chicken and my husband had the salmon both were very good. Great service and friendly, there were 40 in our group.

I have eaten here about 4 times. I have not been very impressed. There are few decent restaurants in this area, so you will always see a lot of cars in the parking lot. We waited 45 minutes for our lunch on a week day even though it was not crowded. I believe their french fries were frozen, nothing special.... More
