Description: Out of the Fire Cafe is a family owned and operated casual restaurant serving New American cuisine year round. We have been creating flavors amidst laughter and friends since the year 2007. The Cafe is tucked into the Laurel Highlands of Pennsylvania, conveniently located near area ski resorts, Frank Lloyd Wright's Fallingwater and Kentuck Knob, numerous state parks, and the rushing Pennsylvania Turnpike. Out of the Fire Cafe welcomes guests with an open kitchen where guests are able to peer into a mesmerizing scene of flashing flames and artistic finesse. The spacious dining area is complimented by an incredible view of the Laurel Highlands ridgeline. Deck dining is offered when the weather permits giving diners the opportunity to take in the rolling countryside. We are a Bring Your Own Beer or Wine establishment so don't forget to snag your beverage of choice. For a reservation please call the phone number listed below.

We were on our way home to Wilkes-Barre, PA from Fallingwater, and quite by accident we found this gem of a restaurant. The menu was unique, but appealed to even the pickiest eater in the group. The mushroom soup and the fish tacos were the hits. I must recommend Out of the Fire to our 7 Springs friends.

I found this place a couple of years ago on a visit to Fallingwater and I have never had a bad experience. My most recent visit was "thanksgiving" dinner as my wife worked the holiday. We both had the lamb shank and it was a huge portion and was excellent over a bed of couscous and broccoli rob. Both of... More

Skip 7 Springs overpriced menus and travel 15 minutes to Out of the Fire. Menu changes with the seasons and though I may question one or two ingredients when looking at he menu, I've loved every meal I've had. They are BYOB so make sure you stop at Sarnelli's Wine Cellar beforehand.

We were visiting Pittsburgh and planned a day trip to Fallingwater. A colleague suggested this restaurant as a must-stop for lunch if we had the time. We planned accordingly and our group (5 of us) reserved for an early lunch on our way to Fallingwater. The place exudes warmth from the moment you walk in, from the delicious aroma coming... More

Food was delicious!!! waitress was very friendly and informative. Perfect distance from hotel. Kind of pricey and no alcohol are the down falls. I would totally recommend this place!

Stopped by for a late lunch and actually went past the restaurant as it is in a small mall and behind a barnlike shop of tourist items. There is a sign but you have to be looking for it, had a GPS but still somewhat hidden. When we finally found it what a delight, one of the cleanest and upscale... More

This is by far the finest sit down whit table cloth restaurant between Pittsburgh and Philadelphia. While it is a white table cloth restaurant the cost is not excessive and the quality in unbelievable. The menu could be right out of Manhattan but the ambeince is all Laurel Highlands - casual, fun, reasonably prived and fabulous. The menu is diverse... More

On a bicycling ( Great Alleghany Passage) and cultural ( Falling Waters) get-a-way we were treated to great finds in the culinary world. Our meal was delicious and also great ambiance, as that night there was a terrific woman singing and playing guitar. Between us we had the smoked salmon appetizer, hummus appetizer, and two seasonal salads. Everything was delicious.... More

A visit to Out of the Fire should be on the itinerary of every Fallingwater visitor. Dine outside if the weather allows or enjoy the view through the large windows. The restaurant is know for two specialities, smoked salmon and roasted mushroom soup. My grilled smoked salmon salad was served with the most delicious smoked salmon I have ever eaten,... More

On warmer days we love to eat outside. It is such a natural setting with a pond below. On our first trip I actually had a grasshopper jump into my hair. We could see the cattle in the nearby fields and the air is so fresh. The food has always been delicious. They are flexible too. We had the combination... More
