I seriously wish I had known about this tasty little spot sooner! We could not believe this gem exists in rural PA..it rivals the restaurants I grew up eating at in southern California and my husband's dining experiences in Washington, DC. You certainly get what you pay for here!!!! This is the type of restaurant you WOULD find in a... More

There aren't a whole lot of selections once you're off the mountain in Donegal/Champion for places to eat. We enjoy Out of the Fire because it's got a good selection and everything tastes great. They even made a special soft shell crab sandwich for me (at my request) that wasn't on their menu. The staff is friendly and accommodating and... More

Our first visit to Out Of The Fire was on Th, March 13th, 2014 for dinner. We were staying at the Trenthouse Inn in Rockwood, and I had just heard of this sister to The Kitchen in Ligonier, PA. The food was incredible! Amazing! Exactly what was needed in the lovely mountains that I love! The Salmon Sampler was beyond... More

My husband and I visited here on 3/15. We had made reservations and were taken directly to our table where the hostess immediately brought us water and opened our wine for us. (Byob with a 3$ alcohol fee) we noticed that this place was kind of loud, but most of the noise was celebratory, and happy. The dress here was... More

Cannot say enough good things about Out of the Fire Cafe. Delicious. Every time great food, great service. Don't change a thing! (except if you're going to lower prices- that's always nice! ;)

This restaurant is always such a great surprise, it deserves another recommendation. This past weekend we stopped in and had a great seafood pasta dish. Everything was fresh and perfect. I am glad it is a BYOB.

Went to 'Out of the Fire' for our after-skiing dinner (got 15% off for our lift tickets too) - family of 4 .. this is a fantastic restaurant, one of the best meals I've had for quite a long time. I also like that its BYOB - so that cuts down on the price of a great meal (but $3... More

My husband and I stopped here after a day of skiing at Seven Springs for an early Valentine's Day dinner. We had been here one other time for lunch and it was great then and it was great again last night. The service was attentive and friendly. Our table had a nice view of all the beautiful snow outside. My... More

We always look forward to lunch or dinner at this wonderful standby. It is our favorite spot in this ski country. Last night did not disappoint. The mushroom soup was superb and the veal tenderloin and risotto were outstanding. My wife's scallops were perfect. Since they do not have a liquor license, we brought our favorite red and white wine... More

I believe no one within 100 miles radius of Donegal could have had a better New Years Eve meal. From Appetizer to Dessert the food was beyond expectations. And the presentation was as good as any in NY or Cal. Our history of New Years eve restaurants has never been good; mostly because the wait staff had poor attitudes but... More
