Head East to the Six East

I remember this as the old Parish Diner back in the 70's. A great clean stainless diner on Business Rt.6. Ate here several times. Never an issue with the food quality. Very reasonable prices. A few portions may be a bit undersized. Always excellent service. Dining room in the rear for larger... read more

I stopped in for an omlet at 9pm and was told breakfast ends at 1pm. What diner does not serve eggs all day or breakfast choices. Food sucks, small portions, lousy wait staff. Keep driving by.

As we passed by this place, I noticed the number of vehicles parked, typically indicating a good place to dine. We made our way in, and found myself in a art-deco styled Al's Diner, from the 'Happy Days' era. We took our seats, and were then greeted for drinks. Once served our drinks, the wait for our waitress's return exceeded... More

Just wasn't overly impressed. It just a little Diner, and I was expecting it to be a little better than your "Chain Restaurants".

When driving I-81 to & from New York City, we usually hit Scranton, PA in time for a late lunch or early dinner. After trying our luck with various restaurant chains, we took a chance on a few locally-owned restaurants like this one - and were pleasantly surprised here. The food is homemade rather than pre-packaged, the prices are reasonable,... More

We stopped with our 2 year old grandson because we didn't want anything too formal. Food was great, reasonably priced and service was prompt and friendly. Will definitely be back.

We stopped at Six East Diner as we were passing through town on our way to Tennessee. The staff was extremely accommodating and kind. They went out of their way to be helpful. The menu had something for everyone and the food was great. The salad was fresh. If we stop here on our way back we will definitely stop... More
