I hadn't been here for quite a few years - there was no deck/patio last time - So I decided to stop in again with my kids on a Saturday afternoon as I remembered that the food was good. I ordered a chicken cheesesteak which was well grilled & the kids were satisfied with their choices. The menu has a... More

My husband ordered eggplant parmigiana and it was literally uneatable. It even looked gross... The pasta was also watery. The oil for the salad dressing was also of the poorest quality. I ordered calamari, and as I am speaking, I hope I don't get sick tonight. It was over fried and who knows in what kind of oil. The music... More

Zia Maria seems to have been around forever, or perhaps WWII. Clean, with classical looks and atmosphere, there are actually 3 Zia Maria's on the same site. One, the separate bar, the large restaurant in the middle, and a huge outside entertainment and dining area. In total they must seat 600 people or more. The menu selection is varied with... More

Stopped in for a late lunch early dinner while shopping in the area. Decided to eat out on the large deck and the weather was perfect. I ordered a personal pizza and my wife got a cheese steak sub. Both items came in a reasonable time and were as prepared as ordered. Nothing over the top but good food at... More

We walked in and a nice young lady took an order for a white pizza that we were planning on taking back to our hotel room. It was advertised as a thin crust but was not that at all. It was a medium pizza but very good with fresh ingredients. Very good.

My sister, niece and I ate dinner here on a Saturday night -- one of the first warm evenings of the season. It was busy, but we were seated right away. Unfortunately, it seems that the staff was stretched very thin. We could see our server working tables on the other side of the bar. It took forever for our... More

After antique shopping, my friend and I stopped in on a Sunday afternoon for lunch. Zia Maria is one of few restaurants nearby open on Sunday. We both opted for grilled chicken and salad. The portion was huge. The plate was loaded with tomatoes, orange wedges, green apple, walnuts, fresh lettuce and served with a strawberry viniagrette. Grilled chicken was... More

Zia's is a local joint with fairly good food. The pizza is tasty, although the sauce tends to be a little sour. The sandwiches are good and their rolls are crusty but still soft. The problem here is that they charge $10.50 for a martini! It's Denver, not Philly for goodness sake!! If you are beer drinker, you are in... More
