My wife and I have been going to the Lamplighter since we moved here 5 years ago. Service is friendly and very attentive to there customers. Any food not to the liking of the customer is cheerfully either replaced or taken off the bill. Its a friendly place and you just cant beat it for value and taste. We highly... More

I have had many different menu items..French onion soup is a disappointment but chicken noodle is great. They have good salads, bread, pies are great. It is somewhat dated but...takes you back to an older age. I find it clean and the wait staff. very friendly. It is a classic diner. The prices also reflect years gone by......very economical...My group... More

Liver & onions done perfectly, and lots of it. Hubby said his steak cooked perfectly, too; but service very slow because chef overcooked first steak and had to cook new one. (Waitress told us that was why it was taking so long. So at least all of our food came out together, and we weren't served food that had to... More

I cannot, for the life of me, understand how this place got 4 stars. First, I'll start with the place. We were there on a Thu night, and the place is divided in 2. A 'Nice, Upscale' area (in quotes, because the decor looked like it hasn't changed in 40 years), and a 'cafe' area that looked like a Waffle... More

To avoid any confusion, the name of this place is actually The Lamplighter Coffee Shop. It is attached to a semi-fine dining restaurant at the same location. Take it from a fat guy who "lives to eat" instead of "eats to live" that this place is the comfort food capital of the world! It has all of the classic diner... More

Had occasion to have lunch here. Service was great. Food was also great. Had the Italian salad and my wife had the Tuscan. Both salads were generous and lettuce was crisp. The dressing on the Tuscan was good. My dressing was the blue cheese. The dressing was house made and I was told it was great. It was interesting but... More

First off, hard to get service at the bar. Went in for mystery dinner, they dont take credit cards for alcohol even tho they do for your reservation. The show was funny, we liked it. The food was subpar at best the beef was tough and disappointing. Go to the show but eat somewhere else

We ate in the dinning room and also attended a dinner in the Banquet Room. The food was very good, service was good. The Banquet room was very well set up and the food was kept hot while everyone went through the buffet line. Would recommend this resturant to anyone and would recommend the banquet room to anyone looking for... More

Went to try their famous pumpkin pancakes. They were huge and very good. Also had eggs and their Homemade bread and sausage. Great experience
