The staff are very friendly and eager to please. There is a good menu to select from, a full bar, and the decor is inviting. This is great food at a good price. They do a nice plate presentation and the quantity is excellent. Usually have a steak or the crab cakes, all are excellent. I would make this a... More

quality (steaks, seafood, etc) regular menu, nice atmosphere. we used to go for the holiday buffets, but not sure what the reason, price stayed the same, quality of food went down. 90% pre bought, nothing real original, taste generic. stick with the regular visit, and skip the buffets

The main dining room is sterile and institutional - not inviting at all. We elected to dine in the ample but cozy bar, where the good menu and good service were the same as the main dining room, and the atmosphere was friendly and warm.

We enjoyed the atmosphere here - table linens, flowers on the tables. The lunch salads were super. Desserts looked great, but we didn't sample them. Nice place to stop between appointments at Geisinger.

This place is a culinary gem in an unexpected place! Had lunch here and each person in our party had a different sandwich, and they were all fantastic! Very nice newly remodeled dining area, and very friendly staff. Highly recommended and will definitely eat here again!

Have been to Pine Barn for Sunday breakfast, Easter seafood buffet, weekend lunch - usually with a small group. The experience is always great. Food is usually very good if not excellent and the service is always top notch. Have taken out-of-town family there on several occasions and they always love it.

The Sunday brunch was well done and offered a good value. Their Oktoberfest specials on the dinner menu also had some winners. We tried the soft pretzels with honey mustard as a snack-very nice.

Been going there for years. Usually once a week or so. Know most of the staff and they are aces!! Friendly, courteous and efficient. The main dining room is VERY comfortable with a quiet, peaceful atmosphere. The newly remodeled tavern side is very rustic and reminds one of a country English pub. Extensive menu should fit any taste. The food... More

Visited my parents recently. Decided to try this place. I grew up in the area and it was always considered kind of the "better" place to go for our area. Had never been though. Well was with my senior parents so went early. I ordered a Ketel One Martini straight up. Was worried a bit. Came out perfect. Nice size... More
