Description: Old Forge Brewing Company is a fun, casual, comfortable brewpub specializing in healthy pub fare and fresh brewed beer. Our country was built on the skills and labor of old-world artisanal craftsmen. Woodworkers, carpenters, stonemasons, ironworkers, blacksmiths, tileworkers, and many others came here and employed the knowledge and skills of their craft in building their farms, homes, and towns.Nowadays, it is so easy and convenient to purchase generic products from big-box stores, that we sometimes neglect to appreciate the uniqueness and quality of a hand-crafted product. At Old Forge Brewing Company, we strive to honor personal craftsmanship. Our hand-crafted beer is made in small batches to ensure quality and peak freshness, while the healthy and delicious menu has ingredients sourced from local farms and markets wherever possible. Take the time to notice our bar, furniture, and fixtures which were all handcrafted by local wood and metal worker Keith Kocher (Lightstreet Custom Woodworking). Check out our unique tap handles carved and forged by local artist/sculptor J. Mark Irwin (Irwin Sculpture Studio), and our plates, bowls, and beer mugs, all hand-made by local potter Mike Hart (M. Hart Pottery). We welcome you to stop by and visit us on Mill Street in downtown Danville. Have a bite to eat, sip a fresh pint of beer, and enjoy the friendly and comfortable atmosphere. Leave your troubles on the doorstep and let us take care of the rest.

I grew up in small town America, and Danville, PA reminded me of my hometown. After checking into our hotel near the highway, we were skeptical about how good of a dinner we would be able to find in Danville. Thank goodness for Tripadvisor!! Old Forge was excellent! The pretzel (appetizer) was great, and my husband said his burger was... More

We found this place by using the yelp app. Nice inside and for a Saturday lunch it was busy but we sat quickly. My friend ordered a sandwich and when she asked if she could get fries the waiter responded "we don't serve fries, we re trying to be healthy". It seemed off since this place is full of non... More

My family and I just ate at the Old Forge. The atmosphere and service was very good. The food was average. They have a nice menu but was disappointed with the food. The pretzel appetizer was very good, never saw that on a menu before. The overbite ipa beer was very good. I would like to try the Old Forge... More

We stopped by this restaurant on our way to State College because of other reviews and weren't disappointed. The best thing we had were the home made pretzels! Don't miss out on these. They are so fresh and come with 3 dipping sauces. I had the cuban sandwich which was fantastic. It came with home made corn chips. Delicious. The... More

EXCELLENT food! Service is pretty good even when busy (which is almost all the time). Their micro-brews are quite good. Very nice atmosphere. However, most of the time the background music is anything but in the background...much too loud and difficult to have conversation without almost hollering. (Nobody is dancing so WHY such loud music?!?!)

The reason that the Old Forge Brewing Company is rated number one on TripAdvisor is because there's not a place in Danville that can even compare. The restaurant itself is very open, but not loud and cacophonous. The menu has something for everyone and of course, you can't go wrong with the locally brewed beer. On every trip I take... More

A nice place with good selection of hand crafted beer. The bartender was friendly and knowledgeable about the products he was serving.

We took a nice long motorcycle ride on a beautiful day, the longest way possible, of course...to Old Forge Brewery. It was worth the ride. Very nice place, a bit small inside, but, other than that, it's a really nice place. The servers were friendly and efficient. The menu is a little different than what you usually find in a... More
