Description: Old Forge Brewing Company is a fun, casual, comfortable brewpub...
Old Forge Brewing Company is a fun, casual, comfortable brewpub specializing in healthy pub fare and fresh brewed beer. Our country was built on the skills and labor of old-world artisanal craftsmen. Woodworkers, carpenters, stonemasons, ironworkers, blacksmiths, tileworkers, and many others came here and employed the knowledge and skills of their craft in building their farms, homes, and towns.Nowadays, it is so easy and convenient to purchase generic products from big-box stores, that we sometimes neglect to appreciate the uniqueness and quality of a hand-crafted product. At Old Forge Brewing Company, we strive to honor personal craftsmanship. Our hand-crafted beer is made in small batches to ensure quality and peak freshness, while the healthy and delicious menu has ingredients sourced from local farms and markets wherever possible. Take the time to notice our bar, furniture, and fixtures which were all handcrafted by local wood and metal worker Keith Kocher (Lightstreet Custom Woodworking). Check out our unique tap handles carved and forged by local artist/sculptor J. Mark Irwin (Irwin Sculpture Studio), and our plates, bowls, and beer mugs, all hand-made by local potter Mike Hart (M. Hart Pottery). We welcome you to stop by and visit us on Mill Street in downtown Danville. Have a bite to eat, sip a fresh pint of beer, and enjoy the friendly and comfortable atmosphere. Great food and excellent beer

My wife and I recently went to the Old Forge Brewing Company for lunch. The atmosphere was clean and pleasant with everything you would expect from a good brew pub. My husband and I ate here based on a friends recommendation. We had lunch and although the place was not crowded it was very noisy. The waiter forgot several drink items and the food was just average. I thought the dessert ( peanut butter pie & chocolate stout cake) was the worst dessert I've had in a long time. My... More

We stopped in while visiting friends in the area for lunch. The restaurant was not very busy on a Sunday afternoon so we got seated immediately and was tended to by a very attentive waiter. The pretzel appetizer with beer cheese dip was delicious. Our waiter selected our beer flight and all were great. I dined on the Cuban sandwich... More

Great food! I highly recommend the chili and the soft pretzels with the beer cheese. Everything I have ever had was very good. Service is a little slow, and sometimes seems a little disorganized. Well worth the wait, craft sodas are great too! I'm not a beer drinker but my friends who are say they're great.

Great bartender who was very helpful in finding which mircobrews fit out tastes. Beer was very good. Ordered the apple-chicken quesadillas as a snack and one order was enough for two people. Nice flakey crust and plenty of chicken and apple in them.

What a nice find in Central PA. Many unique craft brews and an awesome menu of locally sourced foods prepared exceptionally. My only complaints are the service was a little slow although they were super busy. Also... I can't believe a brew pub doesn't have pub fries! Their amazing beer cheese sauce would be great with them instead of the... More

We enjoy going here, there is always a good selection of beers to choose from and the food is good. My biggest complaint is there are no options other than tortilla chips with the sandwich meals. It amazes me there is no french fries or anything else to choose from.

Family dinner. This has become one of our favorite restaurants. They have a good menu that's much better than typical upscale bar food. They focus on local suppliers which is nice. Any of the sandwiches are very good as are their specials. Most of their beers are good, but like every other small scale producer, some are better than others... More

The beer was fantastic! I am not a fan of dark beers, but loved their chocolate orange stout. Everyone loved all the beer we tried: double chocolate stout, the rye, overbite IPA, underbite IPA, endless sun, and the celestial blonde. Food was okay, but it was their beer that will have me going back again.

hadn't been here in a bit, returned with wife on a Sunday evening, expecting the place to be empty, and fare to middlin' food. Instead, we were treated to several different folksy/bluesy live bands and singers, really great service, and a nice assortment of foods that were very tasty. Fun, good food, erasable prices, great services.
