Description: Old Forge Brewing Company is a fun, casual, comfortable brewpub...
Old Forge Brewing Company is a fun, casual, comfortable brewpub specializing in healthy pub fare and fresh brewed beer. Our country was built on the skills and labor of old-world artisanal craftsmen. Woodworkers, carpenters, stonemasons, ironworkers, blacksmiths, tileworkers, and many others came here and employed the knowledge and skills of their craft in building their farms, homes, and towns.Nowadays, it is so easy and convenient to purchase generic products from big-box stores, that we sometimes neglect to appreciate the uniqueness and quality of a hand-crafted product. At Old Forge Brewing Company, we strive to honor personal craftsmanship. Our hand-crafted beer is made in small batches to ensure quality and peak freshness, while the healthy and delicious menu has ingredients sourced from local farms and markets wherever possible. Take the time to notice our bar, furniture, and fixtures which were all handcrafted by local wood and metal worker Keith Kocher (Lightstreet Custom Woodworking). Check out our unique tap handles carved and forged by local artist/sculptor J. Mark Irwin (Irwin Sculpture Studio), and our plates, bowls, and beer mugs, all hand-made by local potter Mike Hart (M. Hart Pottery). We welcome you to stop by and visit us on Mill Street in downtown Danville. Have a bite to eat, sip a fresh pint of beer, and enjoy the friendly and comfortable atmosphere. Leave your troubles on the doorstep and let us take care of the rest.

Tasty beer

The beer was fantastic! I am not a fan of dark beers, but loved their chocolate orange stout. Everyone loved all the beer we tried: double chocolate stout, the rye, overbite IPA, underbite IPA, endless sun, and the celestial blonde. Food was okay, but it was their beer that will have me going back... read more

hadn't been here in a bit, returned with wife on a Sunday evening, expecting the place to be empty, and fare to middlin' food. Instead, we were treated to several different folksy/bluesy live bands and singers, really great service, and a nice assortment of foods that were very tasty. Fun, good food, erasable prices, great services.

We went to check out this brewery after reading trip advisor reviews. The bar was surprisingly small but there were several beers to choose from. After a flight we choose the Rebel Red. The soft pretzels were good, my burger was more well then medium but had a nice flavor anyway. My husband enjoyed the sausage sandwich with sauerkraut. This... More

Went here when there while driving through the area. We arrived a little after 7 on a Sunday when they close at 8. being a server early in my life, I never like to get to a restaurant that close to closing time I have to say however, that the staff never made it feel as if I came in... More

This is a must visit for sure!! We were driving through the area so stopped after looking for somewhere to go for an early dinner and saw their website online. 16 varities of microbrews on tap, a very nice pub, and additional dining upstairs. They have a detailed beer menu which was nice so you know more what you are... More

They have some interesting menu items and the food was decent, just not wow for the price. The beer selections sounded interesting, but we were there for lunch on a Friday and not in a position to try any. The decor is nice, and the staff was attentive & friendly.

Soups are great--I had the butternut squash soup and my husband had the chili. Specials and some sandwiches are good but overpriced for what's in them. Inconsistent service--this time service was ok, last time here the service was not as good despite not that busy. Quaint place--glad you are here--not much else in town besides sub shops, thank you!

Interesting and good tasting beer, but the pricing for food was possibly the weirdest ever. My brother was charged for mustard ("well, you could have asked for Gulden's mustard instead of our homemade recipe") for his Reuben sandwich, which didn't come with dressing inside, and was charged again when he asked for blue cheese with which to dress his chili... stopped in Danville Pa on our way to Ohio, staying the night. As our favorite restaurant had closed, we checked on trip adviser and chose the Old Forge Brewing Company which was conveniently located across the street from our former fav. Set up as a neighborhood pub/bar. seating areas in front, off to the side, and behind the large bar.... More
