Description: Old Forge Brewing Company is a fun, casual, comfortable brewpub...
Old Forge Brewing Company is a fun, casual, comfortable brewpub specializing in healthy pub fare and fresh brewed beer. Our country was built on the skills and labor of old-world artisanal craftsmen. Woodworkers, carpenters, stonemasons, ironworkers, blacksmiths, tileworkers, and many others came here and employed the knowledge and skills of their craft in building their farms, homes, and towns.Nowadays, it is so easy and convenient to purchase generic products from big-box stores, that we sometimes neglect to appreciate the uniqueness and quality of a hand-crafted product. At Old Forge Brewing Company, we strive to honor personal craftsmanship. Our hand-crafted beer is made in small batches to ensure quality and peak freshness, while the healthy and delicious menu has ingredients sourced from local farms and markets wherever possible. Take the time to notice our bar, furniture, and fixtures which were all handcrafted by local wood and metal worker Keith Kocher (Lightstreet Custom Woodworking). Check out our unique tap handles carved and forged by local artist/sculptor J. Mark Irwin (Irwin Sculpture Studio), and our plates, bowls, and beer mugs, all hand-made by local potter Mike Hart (M. Hart Pottery). We welcome you to stop by and visit us on Mill Street in downtown Danville. Have a bite to eat, sip a fresh pint of beer, and enjoy the friendly and comfortable atmosphere. Leave your troubles on the doorstep and let us take care of the rest.

An amazing place to visit. Great food & the service was excellent for a busy Friday night. Homemade pretzel bun was fabulous along with the crab cake sandwich. Highly recommend this place!!!!

If you like trying excellent craft made beer, this place is a must. Not only is there a wide variety of their own brews, but a menu full of delightful offerings, many made with local beef and cooked to perfection. Don't hesitate... go!

I was in town for a half marathon and they had locally raised beef on the menu. I had a delicious 20 oz. T-bone steak. Plus they had mashed sweet potatoes. I don't know it they have sweet potatoes on a regular basis or if they did it just for the runners. But runners love sweet potatoes! High in carbs... More

if you want to know where all of the locals are eating, this is the place. a 45 minute wait for a table, and at least another 30 minutes to get food that was very good. the two hour limit on the meter was up by the time we returned to the car. lucky, no ticket.

My wife and I recently went to the Old Forge Brewing Company for lunch. The atmosphere was clean and pleasant with everything you would expect from a good brew pub. Our waiter spent time explaining what the different beers tasted like and was also very helpful with our food selection. We found the beers and food we ordered to be... More

My husband and I ate here based on a friends recommendation. We had lunch and although the place was not crowded it was very noisy. The waiter forgot several drink items and the food was just average. I thought the dessert ( peanut butter pie & chocolate stout cake) was the worst dessert I've had in a long time. My... More

We stopped in while visiting friends in the area for lunch. The restaurant was not very busy on a Sunday afternoon so we got seated immediately and was tended to by a very attentive waiter. The pretzel appetizer with beer cheese dip was delicious. Our waiter selected our beer flight and all were great. I dined on the Cuban sandwich... More

Great food! I highly recommend the chili and the soft pretzels with the beer cheese. Everything I have ever had was very good. Service is a little slow, and sometimes seems a little disorganized. Well worth the wait, craft sodas are great too! I'm not a beer drinker but my friends who are say they're great.
