Black and Blue Burger

I suggested they replace the grilled onions on this burger with their fried onion rings. This version of a the generally reliable standard black and blue burger was disappointing. However, our server was at the ready and cheerful. And with all the sports fans in the bar area, it made me cheer... read more

Location was ideal, seating was easy. Food was priced right. Thought the sandwich lacked taste, would only go back if it was close by.

This was our first time to Primanti Brothers, I was a bit nervous at the thought of coleslaw & fries on a sandwich but I was pleasantly surprised how good the sandwich was. Food & pop for 2 people was under $20! Clean restaurant & fast service. Easy access to highway.

So, I have been seeing them for a while and finally stopped at a Parmanti Brothers. I was alone and sat in the bar at a table. I was wearing a white shirt and tie and this definitely was not a tie place. It is really the opposite. Now I thought flannel went out years ago along with frye boots... More

If you are in the Pittsburgh area, you NEED to get a Primanti's sandwich. My favorite is a Cheese Combo. The coolest thing about is that the french fries and cole slaw are ON the sandwich. I know that it sounds weird, but it is AMAZING. Even my kids like it! The rest of their food is good too, but... More

I've heard a lot of good things about this restaurant so I decided to give it a try. The portions a very big so bring your appetite. Our group had a selection of their sandwiches and everybody in our group enjoyed their meal.

I have wanted to try this place since I saw it on a food tv show. The sandwich has too much going on, and ultimately the heavy taste of fried and too much slaw overpowers the very small amount of meat. Do not recommend, would not return.

I came here because the guy sitting next to me on the flight in from Denver said that this was Steel town's famous sandwich. I ordered the corned beef sandwich and -- I am sorry -- there is nothing about this sandwich deserving of the attention. I have had a couple of sandwiches before where the maker thought it would...
