Great Local Ice Cream

On a recent trip through the area, I stopped both evenings at Kip's for dessert. Their homemade ice cream is very good...almost buttery. I had 3 different flavors and thankfully they weren't too sweet like generic grocery store ice cream. Sure, it's relatively pricey, but it's better. They take... read more

Broguth my daugheter here last week. The ice cream is good. I had the peanut butter fudge. My daughter had vanailla. The only concern I have whiah would possibly keep us from going back was the price. The prices are very high compared to other ice cream places. I understand the ice cream is made there, but paying that amount... More

Kips serves wonderfully delicious homemade ice cream. Friendly staff. They do not accept debit or credit cards so make sure to take cash. They also have a punch card to get a free single scoop. Great place!

They make their own ice cream in house. It's fabulous. They have sugar free options too. Chubby Puppy is the best!!!

Generous scoops of creamy ice cream....I had the chocolate turtle...no shortage of pecans in it. We stop every time we visit my daughter ....love it!

Very creamy ice cream that is homemade in store. Plenty of flavors. However, it was not as sweet as I like it otherwise it would have received a 5 star rating.

This is my go to place for good ice cream! Softer than other competitors and very reasonably priced, they carry classic flavors named after dogs (or dog themed things). Although they only offer about 2 dozen flavors, the quality is much higher than most places or what you could buy in the grocery store. My only qualm is there is... More

I come here on my lunch break sometimes. You can't eat your ice-cream inside; there is nowhere to sit. It is good for being homemade ice-cream, but it's no Häagen-Dazs.

They have the best butter pecan ( called butter pecanese). I highly recommend the hot fudge sundae with pecans. Staff is always friendly. Their seasonal flavors are always fantastic!

My 5 year-old's favorite ice cream place! Its dog themed, so the rainbow sprinkles are the shape of dog bones and they'll make a smiley face with them for kids! Tasty ice cream with healthy (and tasty!) options too.
