A recent visit to Armstrong's left me wanting more-a good thing in show business, but in restaurants not so much. It was a special occasion and a steak place seemed too pricey since a friend was paying. So we think comfort food and head to Armstrong's. I decided on the crab stuffed shrimp. The shrimp were overcooked and tough and... More

Some of the best Italian food in Pittsburgh. Wholesome (not exotic) dishes. Fresh salads & bread. Huge portions & reasonably priced. A wholesome family place with an active take out business. The locals love this place! I only miss having wine with dinner--no alcohol served, but you can BYOB without corkage fee.

We all had the steak salad and enjoyed it immensely. Big salad with lot of veggies. Service was great. Definitely recommended.

Stayed at the Embassy Suites on a Saturday in March and we stopped at Armstrong's for dinner. We arrived around 5:30 to a 20 minute wait. There is not an abundance of space in the restaurant, but the food makes up for it. Everything is good and servings are very large and reasonably priced. This is a family restaurant without... More

The food is phenomenal. Have not had a bad entrée. The Baked Ziti, Chicken Parm. sandwich, Steak salad.. OMG! Take out or eat in you cant beat it, servicing staff is fantastic . original manager is a little rough act like you owe him something but when push comes to shove he takes care of his customers.

Got take out one night, sandwiches and pasta, and boy did they not disappoint. One of the best eggplant parmesan sandwiches I have ever had! The pasta dishes are huge and filling.

This place has great homemade food...really!!! The ol' people line up to wait for a table! Their chicken salads are HUGE...full chicken breasts and their pasta is excellent..cheesy!! We used to order from them for catering events in my office all the time and it was always a hit!! Try the vodka penne pasta for sure!! My ONLY complaint is... More

I've been going to Armstrong's for over 15 years. It's the best Italian food in Moon Twp, and it's family owned, which I really respect. Everything I've ever tried was delicious. From appetizers, to sandwiches to pasta, you are sure to find something you'll enjoy. IMO they have HUGE portions, enough to share. Love this place!

I'm from the area and this is my go to restaurant. All the food is great consistantly. It is a perfect family restaurant and the prices are good. Whenever I don't know what I feel like eating, this is were I turn. Never been disappointed.

Snuggled in the corner of the small shopping center it is a bit difficult to see at night, The facility is very clean. The service is outstanding. The ingredients are fresh. The portions are robust. Whether you come alone or with a group the experience will be delightful. The only negative is that the sauces and flavors are good but... More
