Unexpected find in Conshohocken, PA

My wife, her son and myself enjoyed a great dinner at Stella Blu, in Conshohoken this past weekend. I understood that the owners had other restaurants in the area and this was their newest. The food at Stella is consistently good. They also are quite creative, at times, with their specials. The only negative concerns where you are seated. While the back of the restaurant is cozy and more private, it can feel quite confining. Ask for a table up front.

I visited Stella Blu Friday on a first date. It is a small, intimate setting, so it really was the perfect spot for a date. We did not have a full blown meal, we shared some appetizers and drinks, but the food was very good. I'm not really a cheese plate kind of guy, but she wanted to try it... More

My wife and I occasionally come here when we are looking to change up our normal dining routine (Gypsy Saloon). Both Stella Blu and Gypsy's (a stone's throw down the street) are owned by the Conshy Girls Group. Stella Blu is small, but cozy. They don't pack you in to a bunch of tables that are crowded together and as... More

Went on cold Saturday night with reservations. Seated right away after valet tooj car for 4.00...convenient as street parking is tight. Specials were interesting and drinks came promptly. Table for four was a bit tight...my only real complaint. I had special surf and turf...meat coojed nicely but waiter never asked how I like it....we had good service and everyone enjoyed.

I happened to be visiting a good friend playing there and the martinis were fabulous and the food was as always excellent. I have eaten there twice and... More

Somewhat pretentious place, even at lunchtime. The slender, young waitresses even seemed bored with the concept of serving meals. Food was okay, but quite expensive for lunch. For a better experience visit their sister restaurant, Southern Cross.

Cold not cozy. Tables could use tablecloths. Sliced bread on a plate.. Where are the bread baskets? Ordered a peach Bellini.. Worst I ever had. More like a mimosa. The people I was with had their pineapletinis that they didn't like either. Waited about 1 hr and fifteen minutes for food. Figured it would be excellent...it was blah and bland.... More

Full disclosure, I was there with a group of 12 people... not very accommodating for a larger group as the atmosphere is more reminiscent of a neighborhood bar. The decor was whimsical, the bathroom was not very clean. We ordered lobster mac, artichoke, and calamari for appetizers. The lobster mac fit the bill, however the calamari was overdone and very... We don't go to Conshohocken without coming here. Always pleased with our food. Within walking distance of Marriott hotel in West Conshohocken. Had an enjoyable evening. Waiter was wonderful. Go here you will not be disappointed!
