This place is a diner in the morning, and in the evening turns into an Indian restaraunt...to some people this is cool, to some people this is weird, and to some people ...well it doesn't matter! The food is ok..not the best Indian food I've had...but it's not horrible either :)

I always liked the 401 Diner previously, but the new 401 Diner/Nirvana blows away my old memories of the old diner. The decor has been completely redone inside, and it is absolutely beautiful. Lots of booths, with beautiful table tops, lighting and stained glass seperators between the booths. Very clean, and colorful, and bright, and welcoming. Love that they advertise... More

Stayed at an area hotel, but wanted a good diner breakfast. Street parking was ample, decor inside was nicer than the average diner, but the menu offerings were the same. I had eggs and bacon on an English muffin with homefries (about $7); husband had the western omelette with homefries (about $8). Service could be friendlier, but was quick. Would... More

We were staying in Conshohoken for the weekend and happened upon 401 Diner while driving around looking for some breakfast. While it is a typical shiny metal diner on the outside, the inside is warm with wood, hanging glass lighting and tables inlaid with colorful tile. The hostess greeted us with a smile and poured fresh, hot coffee and ice water... I enjoy Nirvana food so much that I arranged for a special event at the Restaurant. I found that the owners.... are very flexible about reserving space to suit your party needs. will create specialties for you that are not on the menu. Ask for their MoMos! Chicken or Vegetable. Both Nomi! Friends came from all over and everyone loved... More

Good Indian food with very well balanced Indian spices. Service was good. Only complain I had was when asked where I can buy some beer, no one at the restaurant knew. If you going to advertise BYOB, you should know a few places to direct the customers. The chilli paneer and chicken 65 was great!

Attentive staff are extremely accommodating. Ask for Chai, their signature Nirvana Yellow Dahl and Saag dishes. All their meat dishes are succulent. They know how to cook. The Rasmalai is my FAVORITE dessert - better here than anywhere else. Try the Garlic Naan - homemade and hot from the grill. Like pizza without the extra calories! For Gluten-free bread, try... More

Whether it be solo or joined by friends, I love eating at Nirvana. I've had most of the items on the menu but favor their vegetarian fare menu over all else, and I'm not a vegetarian. The flavors are exquisite and the presentation is always worthy of a photo!

Nice Indian food..served aesthetically..courteous staff..average priced. Liked their 'Mango Lassi' and 'Prawn Fried Rice'. The portion size could improve for the price paid. Overall much better than 'Taste of India' or 'Bawarchi'.The setting is good-not much noise around. Good to try once at least.

After not getting around to going out to eat for a while, Last week, we took family to 401 Nirvana for Breakfast for the first time. I asked some of the customers what they liked. They had very strong & glowing opinions about the Banana Whole Wheat Pancakes "to die for" and the Corn Beef Hash - "I always get... More
