Have lived in the area for years and only got around to El Limon recently. I could kick myself because I missed out on some mighty fine Mexican during that time. He prices are cheap, the portions are large and the food is awesome. The complimentary chips are thick and hearty. My faves are the sopes and enchiladas suizas.

We've been to El Limon a few times and the food is always good. The mole sauce is my favorite. The place is small and gets crowded, which I a the only negative. Staff is always friendly and helpful. They have some delicious flavored soda (Jarritos). Prices are very affordable and food comes out quick.

Take out, delivery and stay in. We chose to take out, only because we had 2 active youngsters with us. Tangy, spicy and yummy burritos.

I stopped in on a weekday for lunch. The place was busy and I sat at the counter which was really cool because you could watch them cook. It all looked really good. I had the 3 enchiladas, they had so many choices for stuffing them, but I chose cheese. I had the tomatillo sauce and they let you substitute... More

From the outside, El Limon didn't look like much, but it was highly recommended by my cousin, so I was optimistic. Upon entering, I noticed the sparse décor, industrial metal chairs, and dark particle board tables, and was still unsure. We were greeted with a smile and told we could step into the other section of the restaurant. Overall, it... More

You will find amazing, authentic Mexican food here. It is a bit of a hole in the wall establishment, but once I tasted the food, I could have cared less. You can get free margaritas with dinner!

I'd heard about this place and always want to try it. We were there on a Saturday night and the wait was just too long. Came back the following weekend. The weather was bad so we got right in. Food was fresh and excellent. We'll go back.

I sat in plain view of the open kitchen and there was a lot of food spilled on the floor and dirty dishes piled up. Granted, they were very busy, but a little attention to cleaning would have been appreciated. I had the chicken tortilla soup special (which was pretty hot and more tomatoey than I would have liked), two... More

As you know it is hard to succeed in the restaurant industry but it is even harder to sustain. The folks at Limon have gone backwards! The place is dirty !!!!! The food is not as good !! The employees are not following basic health and sanitation standards! They had a great thing going!! I hope they can get their... More

El Limon is our favorite local restaurant. The food is extraordinarily fresh and delicious. The Sopes are my current passion. The vegetables are amazing. The guacamole is also incredible. The staff is terrific and the prices are ridiculously low. Perfect place to take your gluten-free friends, as well.
