Another great meal

This is our go to place for great food in a BYO. I simply can not ever remember having a bad meal. Unfortuneately I do order the same ap over and over, house made salmon with a poached egg. Party of four, two ordered the dorado and two the chicken. Each exceptional on their own merits. Very... read more

With a frequently-changing menu and a BYOB policy, Blackfish has helped Conshohocken become the new Manayunk. The food is well prepared and presented, and the wait staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Delicious! The restaurant gets very warm, so try to sit toward the front.

This restaurant is a BYOB. $2.00 corkage fee. Went for dinner (reservations recommended) prior to a concert at the Valley Forge Casino. Service was quick and friendly. Decor was on the formal side ( but no suits required) with great ambience. My friend and I started with the snails - awesome. Not your run of the mill herb butter sauce.... More

Bring fine wine and fine company to share this great restaurant. My family dined here last night and we continue to talk the details of the flavors, colors, presentation, preparation that Chef Roman provides and service (ask for Jackie). My son and I ordered the Tuesday tasting menu of Tilefish. Three courses plus dessert: First: Ceviche: icicle radish, yuzu, horseradish,... More

Dinner @ 5:30pm. Easy street parking right in front. Decor was close, clean, and cordial. Service was attractive and experienced and, on the whole, good. Food was high end and perfectly prepared. Portions were adequate (not huge). They suggest 4 courses: two appetizers, entree, and dessert. 5 and 7 course prix fixe meals were on our menu suggested for the... More

The food and atmosphere were great as was the service. I wish that the portions were a bit larger. There were no options to have a salad. the appetizers were also small so it was a bit difficult to order enough food to be satisfied. The restaurant is very loud and it was challenging to have a conversation with others... More

A truly exceptional place. Not just a neighborhood gem, but a destination. Dig deep in your cellar for a great bottle of wine.

Ok I gave it four stars, but have to say all, not just some all the food was over salted. Choices very continental and beautifully plated. There are only limited selections, and very good but the over saltiness was noticeable in all plates ordered. I might try again, the restaurant is quaint and romantic, and service excellent. Restaurant is a... More

Let me start off by saying that this place comes closer to a 5-star than to a 4-star. Nevertheless in my world, the bar to achieve a 5-star is prettyyyyy high and Blackfish falls just a little short of those standards. My wife and I were here last evening for our anniversary dinner. We reserved our spot using OpenTable and... More

The food here is excellent but don't be too hungry. The portions are small and the prices fairly high. There were about five entrees on the menu with 3 being fish, one chicken and one beef. It is a byob which keeps the bill down a bit. We live nearby and go once in a while. Not an everyday kind... More
