While visiting the York region, we drove to Columbia for some dinner. Didn't know much about Prudhomme's Kitchen except for the nice rating received on TA. The restaurant is in an old hotel that was a speakeasy in the old days. . The service was good and the food was OK, nothing really special. When we walked in, there HE... More

Terrible! Did I say terrible? I got sick after eating here. The catfish was just horrible. I will never go back!

This was the worst meal I had in over 30 years eating out, really. Special of the day,JAMBALAYA, with breaded fish on top. I Spread this whatever out across the plate, found 6 tiny pieces sausage, 3 over cooked celery, that's it. NO shrimp, chicken, nothing. Breaded fish was out of the freezer, asked for tarter sauce, did not help.... More

I was really excited about their seafood gumbo but it was tasteless. I had to add salt and hot sauce to make it palatable. And I rarely use salt. The stuffed flounder was okay. My husband got their special which was fried fish, hush puppies over jumbolea. Which wasn't even a good combination. Service was just okay.

The staff was very friendly and the magician that tours the tables on Tuesday night was very entertaining. It is a shame that most of the folks that live in Columbia, PA have no idea what real Cajun food tastes like because If this restaurant was in New Orleans, it wouldn’t last a month. The French Onion Soup had a... More

This being our first taste of Cajun food I'd have to say we were disappointed, appetisers were ok we had the mussels (very small portion) and the crawfish étouffée. The entrees though were over priced and low quality produce. The fried food elements were bland and the catfish tasted dirty. We would not return and felt fairly annoyed with ourselves... More

This was my first time ever eating Cajun food so I cannot tell you if its authentic or not, but my boyfriend who was stationed in Louisiana for a year said they came pretty darn close. We went around 7:30 pm on a Saturday for dinner. We caught the tail end of the dinner rush and we only had to... More

This place not only has the best Cajun food, it also has other items for those who do not like Cajun food. There is entertainment, a great variety of beer selections. An all around Fun place to go and enjoy!

After reading all the great reviews we decided to try this place out. We were not impressed. The crawfish tasted like a swamp. The breaded clams were the freezer to fry type found in many restaurants. Didn't like the gumbo, or the catfish. The hush puppies are the same as I make. No dessert? Apparently not. The hard bench and... More

Best kept secrect of Columbia. FOOD was GREAT. Drinks Were Great. The Owner stopped by and chatted for 20 min after the meal. Great HISTORy of the building and colorful stories of those who have past on. DON'T Miss The Catfish and Chicken dishes. No waiting - Good Beer on Draft.
