I recently moved to Columbia & decided to try the Columbia Family Restaurant. The Chicken Cordon Bleu was pretty decent. As the time approached 8:00 PM I noticed that the place was just about empty, so I asked the waitress for more coffee with which to finish my meal. (This was at 7:50.) "There is no coffee left; would you... More

We decided to stop here for a late breakfast. The service was fast and friendly. A family kind of place. The food was great. It was nice and quiet. The prices were very good.

Passing through Columbia found this place and stopped for lunch food was good service fine and price reasonable. Menu included egg an olives, cracker pudding, chicken coquettes. You don't find the them any where else but a small town in PA.

My boyfriend and I recently ate here on a trip to Columbia, PA. We were staying at a Bed and Breakfast nearby and were unpleasantly surprised to find that most of the restaurants (excluding fast food like Domino's and Subway) were closed on Sundays. After walking around for a while and striking out 4-5 times, we stumbled up to the... More

I ordered the lunch special chicken parm sandwich which came with a little bag of chips, a soup, and a pudding. The chicken was one of those frozen breaded chicken patties you can buy at the store. I ordered French onion as my soup choice and the waitress said "there's no bread or cheese in the soup...is that ok?" That... More

Nothing fancy here, but it was decent for Sunday lunch, the server was helpful, and the food was average. I couldn't find a lot of places to eat in Columbia, so I appreciated this one.

Although we live in town, my family's first visit was also our last. I had a taco salad which consisted of a burned shell filled with flavorless meat, soggy lettuce, and soft tomatoes. Son had chicken nuggets which were so greasy as to be inedible, and mashed potatoes. The potatoes were clearly homemade (not instant) and tasted good, but were... More

I ordered a philly steak sandwich. What came was some some slivers of thin beef on a hamburger roll - not want I expected at all especially since I came from Philly. The 2 people with me were also disappointed in their lunches.

Just moved to Columbia, really want to support local business and love diner type food, so I wanted to like this place. But both times I've been my meat's been over cooked (meat loaf and hamburger). The most recent trip the host was absolutely useless. I told him I was waiting for someone to join me, yet he sat me... More

Such a shame that this restaurant was consistantly very good but for the last year really went downhill. Used to be crowded with customers but the last several times not many people there. Food was awful and asked for something else and was equally bad. Waitress let me know that she couldn't just replace the meat portion of the dish... More
