Good breakfast spot

Good place to eat breakfast in Clarks Summit. The food is good. Breakfasts are simple, nothing fancy. But our meals were good. The prices are very reasonable. The orange juice was not fresh squeezed. If you are looking for good, basic food at a reasonable price this is a good option. If you... read more

Sooo dirty. Place is just filthy, will never return their. Plastic tablecloths, tacky decor and filthy floors, tables, counters, grill and walls. Yuk!

A small cozy diner located on the side street amongst other small businesses. Has it's regular local customers. Immediate friendly service. The breakfast arrived in a prompt manner, was very enjoyable and priced reasonably. No irritating TV but a low volume radio playing the local oldie station. Decor may not suit all but I find it to be welcoming and... More

I am not sure where to start. We were a party of four- two adults and two older children. We were seated but not given any menus. When the waitress came over to take our order she realized we did not have menus and asked us if we needed them. Since this was our first tiem there, we did. Once... More

My family and I met here for breakfast this week during my visit from Colorado. There were nine of us, and we were accommodated in the back room. Everyone loved their dishes, our waitress was attentive and pleasant, and we had a great time. Stop by the Sunrise Cafe and enjoy a real, old-fashioned diner. You'll love the prices as... More

All I can say is wow! The food is great, the service terrific and the diner itself is so cute. Well worth it, this is the second time I've been here and this is the best breakfast I've had in a long time, great small town diner. The owner is lovely, can't wIt to go back!

Well, you caught us red-handed enjoying one of our hometown's best breakfast places. It is on a side street out of sight of the car traffic, and the building itself looks plain-jane from the outside, so we thought we were safe. But you took a chance and stopped in and checked out the stalwart character of the building's interior (as... More

My husband and I go to the Sunrise Cafe every so often. So far, we have only gone for breakfast, but they do serve lunch. It isn't fancy, but very friendly. The food is basic and good. And you can't beat the prices which are very reasonable! The regular customers are always there for their morning coffee, breakfast, and conversation.... More

I've only been in for breakfast. The waitresses are nice and attentive. The place is FULL of locals. It seems most people stick with the basic eggs, home fries, toast combination, though a friend was enjoying sunny side up eggs on top of pancakes. They're definitely accommodating! I tried a mixed dish called a morning mess or something. It was... More

Food was tasty. Service very friendly and kept coffee cups filled. Good value. Looks like a place locals patronize so that's always a good sign. Seemed like there were lots of regular customers.
