This place has made improvements. After eating there a few years ago I swore I'd never go back. They won me back. The quality of food is excellent for the price. Their prime rib, appetizers and pizza are all great. I'm looking forward to trying more of their meals. Apparently the secret isn't out yet. They don't seem to be... More

Went new years eve for dinner & drinks. Service was very good. Meals were tasty. My wife had the filet, said it was excellent. I had the crab cakes, they were decent. Brought dessert home since we were stuffed. It was real good, had the bananas foster cheesecake and caramel apple pie. Definitely recommend giving the place a try.

It's obvious the new chef knows what she's doing. We're been really impressed with the quality, presentation and above all taste, of everything we've ordered since the re-opening. Service has been very good, too. Keep up the good work!

Let me first say if you have kids not the place to go! Took forever to get waited on and then to get our food, was just getting ready to walk out when the waitress finally came to take our order. Although we did have a good laugh when they came and took our menu's before we ever ordered. Was... More

The previous post talked about the Bar and having a horrible experience. While I can not speak to that incident since I was not there, I do want to say that this is a restaurant and bar with the bar very separated from the restaurant and are totally different experiences.

I believe Captain Loomis to be an awful establishment with even worse employees. I had a woman strike me in the face in the middle of the bar and every so called "security officer" supposedly didn't see it. I find that hard to believe as she was screaming and making a scene. With that being said I would never take... More

My husband and I had dinner here recently and it was awesome. The restaurant seemed open and welcoming and I liked the renovations. Today a friend and I had lunch there. The crab cake sandwich I has was delicious, and our waitress Sydney was a real sweetheart!

It is almost worth moving to Clarion to be able to eat here on a regular basis! I have eaten in Europe and all the great places in the Midwest and East and this place was shockingly good! Did not expect much from a college, small town but I was wrong. Newly renovated... New chef.. Chef Heather...so good! I had... More

This is a local restaurant under new management. I've only had one meal recently, but it was seriously one of the best I've had in a long time. I had the surf and turf, filet and grilled shrimp. The filet was wonderful. We were there celebrating a birthday and received great service. I will go back!

I been there twice in the last month and we loved the food and drink. The wait staff was really good too. Clarion Class of 1987!
