We were in Town for a Gettysburg visit and we decided to eat here for dinner. We called to see if we needed to make reservations, and they said yes, but when we got there, we saw that none were needed. The place was neat and clean, but it looked like we were back in the 60’s. Very old décor.... More

Our pure bred French miniature poodle enjoyed the setting while we we having quite a good meal. We started out with no expectations, having traveled hours and in search of a place to sit for a decent meal. We were so satisfied that we owe the Copper Kettle recognition for their welcome, choice of food fare and reasonable pricing. We... More

Here we go again with our reviews of restaurants in Chambersburg, PA...our new home. Not America's food mecca, but if you do some "research" you will find some pleasant surprises. We have had several lunches at the Copper Kettle and finally tried a dinner. We were not only not disappointed, we were very pleased. We agree with the review from... More

Solid lunch spot, good food, a bit long in the tooth in atmosphere. Good service and quick turnaround

Went for our anniversay. We hadn't been back for a few years. I'm glad we did. Atmosphere was nice. Not over the top. But, nice. Calm. Food was excellent. Prices - what you would expect to pay. Service was very good. Prime Rib - Yummmm. Seafood - Yummier. :)

Chambersburg is a convenient stopping place for us on our at least annual 2 day drive from S. Carolina to Mass. After 9-10 hours of driving, we're looking for a good meal, a few glasses of wine & then some sleep, ready for an early departure the next morning for the remainder of the drive. We've been doing this for... More

In the past you could go to the Copper Kettle and expect to have a fantastic meal at a decent price. I long for those days again. Last weekend my lady and I made a reservation and from the soup to the last bite of the prime rib it was a total disappointment. French Onion soup should be black in... More

Food was decent but I must agree with the reviewer that said it was too salty. The food was good quality if they had been lighter on the salt it would have been great. The rolls were outstanding. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was very nice. Was overpriced in my opinion. I would eat there again, just wont... More

Not worth the cost. Food is about average at best but the prices are above average. Everything was salty and the prime rib is not their speciality no matter what they say. Service was good.

My husband and I chose the Copper Kettle for our anniversary, since we always drive by but had never been. A neighbor highly recommended it. We sat in the front dining room, at the window. It was nice to be able to see outside. The atmosphere was fine, and the wait staff friendly. I had a steak and my husband... More
