I read a recent review from someone claiming to witness some hygiene issues at the cafe, and so I looked at the other reviews that she or he posted about other places and every one is a negative review based on alleged hygiene issues. Every. Single. One. No positives, only negative. Sounds like an obsession. Anyhoo, the meals we have... More

Imagine our surprise when the lead cook and owner Luke used the back of his hand, not once, not twice but four times to wipe a runny nose. The kitchen prep and cooking is done in direct view of patrons. What happened next, not only surprised but repulsed us. He did not wash his hands after the nose swipes and... More

My wife and I were looking for a great meal at a non chain restaurant. We started with an antipasto which was very good. She got the spicy sausage marinara which she loved. I got the seafood marina which was good. As usual, my wife was the order queen because she selected better. This is BYOB which saves $$$. The... More

Food is great, cooked fresh, good basic Italian. Their bruschetta is the as good as any anywhere. The place is small but very friendly. Family owned, good service. Minus is no alcohol (stupid PA liquor laws...), but you may bring your own wine and they'll provide the glasses. Food is always good, prices very, very reasonable. On the square in... More

Quaint and cozy, byob (small fee), and excellent red sauce (I always get the eggplant Parmesan; it 's one of the best I've ever had). My husband usually gets whatever the special is, typically involves seafood, and says it's always good. I recommend visiting the Tuscarora Winery around the corner for some great wine to enjoy with your meal! New... More

It's easy to drive through downtown Chambersburg and miss this gem of a restaurant nestled right in the north-west corner of the town square. But if you're looking for a great meal at a great price, then stop on in! We ate here with friend's of ours who are regular customers after they convinced us it was the best Italian... More

It has been quite a while since we first tried this restaurant; in fact, the place has undergone a change in ownership. Our meal was excellent: we started with a delicious shared plate of calamari fritti, hot and fresh and with a wonderful marinara dipping sauce. Our Caesar salads were great, even though the dressing was not entirely true to... More

We went back twice and may have goone back again, but we were not in town that long... The first time, there was a great apple/squash soup. They wouldn't give us the recipe, but said it was made with several different types of apples. All I can say is wow! The second night, we tried the lobster bisque and the... More
