We were in the area to shop, when we decided to try Melt. The decor is eclectic, which always impresses us. The floral arrangements and plants were fresh and well kept. The food was excellent. My friend had the fish of the day which delighted her (I never heard of, or remembered the name of the fish). I had the... More

I live in the suburbs of Philadelphia and WISH We had a place as cool, eclectic and as fun as melt. This space is 4 floors of uniqueness and awesomeness. I've only been here for business and had a pizza and a glass of wine so I cant really speak for the food and dining experience as I sat at... More

I'm sorry that Vincenzo 1961 had such a bad experience, because ours was quite the opposite. Seating for our Sat. 7:30 reservation was prompt and placed on the second level. Our server for the evening was excellent and attentive without being intrusive. We especially appreciated the pacing of the dinner as courses were served with an appropriate rest time between.... Pretense galore! Impressive building, good bread---positives complete. The rest of the place is a sham. During the nicest day of the Spring (mid 70 degrees), enter into a freeze zone with air conditioning blasting...room temperature in the 60's, so ladies bring a sweater, or a Parka! The restaurant claims to be Italian-based, with entire menu using Italian headings, yet when... More

We visit Melt about once a month and always have at least a very good experience. This was true of this visit on Good Friday. The ambience was lively as usual and the service was outstanding, however, my entree (seafood skewers) were not up to the Melt standard. I did eat and enjoy but did note the slight disappointment. We... More

Went there for dinner at 6:30 on a Saturday night in great weather. Did not have to wait for a table. I am now not surprised. The service was good, and the décor really is top notch. However the food was not. I ordered for an appetizer mortadella smoked sausage with cured olives, grain mustard + crostini toast. My wife... More

Food is always delicious and staff is very professional and friendly. Drinks are a little hit or miss in my opinion so I usually stick to a long island or beer rather then trying a new martini due to how sweet they tend to be. Ambiance is nice and their pannacotta for dessert is killer.

I have come here for lunch, dinner and drinks/apps and really have never been disappointed. Drop the drink prices and I would give 5 stars. I always have an excellent and attentive waiter/waitress and the food is a solid good. Proximity is everything for this restaurant.

I've been here multiple times and always leave with the same impression. They don't execute everything well. They have a pretty extensive fancy Italian menu that doesn't change except for the addition of a few specials. However, they don't cook their regular items to near-perfect. An example is the mozzarella fritta appetizer. It describes fresh mozzarella on crostini with anchovy-butter.... More

Had dinner here on Saturday, Feb 9, 2014. Had early reservations (6:15) as we went to a movie following our meal. Conveniently located in the promenade shops in Center Valley just yards away from theater and shops. Interior is interesting with large open spaces but furnished and decorate in way that makes it feel a bit more warm and comfortbale... More
