Nice alternative to frozen custard

Leo's offers a nice variety of flavors, and tries new combinations. I especially love the Salt Caramel in a waffle cone.

Best ice cream in town, actually in the entire Harrisburg/Carlisle area. The variety is huge and I guarantee there is a flavor for everyone!

Very nice selection of flavors. Smooth, creamy and tasty. A little pricey for the sizes considering you can get 2/$5 at Turkey Hill which is the price of a large dish (3 scoops). I did make the trip all the way from Shippensburg just for a dish of their Coffee Espresso Bean Fudge. This has topped my list of all... More

Stop in periodically for ice cream. It is made on the premises and is good. This is not a full scale restaurant.

Cute ice cream parlor with unique ice cream flavors. This was my first visit and I was not disappointed. I had the Almond Joy in a waffle cone. It was delicious and refreshing. I wasn't brave enough to try the corn bread or the ice cream with chipotle this time around, but I will definitely be back. I've been wanting... More

The ice cream here is made with pre-made ice cream mix from Galliker's, a Quality Chekd company. It is not homemade. It would be more fair to call the business Leo's Ice Cream and drop the ''homemade'' gimmick because it's a lie.

Clean and comfy indoors and outdoors, lots of flavors, you can also ask to taste,,,,last night I tried Chocolate Chili Pepper -- mmm, I could eat a small dish. Very creamy, friendly staff, closes a bit early for me, but 9 pm is ok I guess. Also has take out pints, etc.

I have gotten ice cream here more than once and have had the privilege of talking to the family who owns the shop. All of this ice cream is made with fresh ingredients and no mixes, hence the excellent taste. The salted carmel is too good, and I have a friend who dreams about the coffee flavors. Best ice cream... Scrumpdilious...is that a word? I love Leo's. You walk in the store and you're hit with all the yummy smells. Not only does he have a zillion flavors ready to dip, he also phas prepackaged pints. (Almond Joy is favorite!) His outside seating is generous and so nice to sit and enjoy friends and family while enjoying one of many... More

I am not a huge fan of hard ice cream in the first place but they had so many good choices of flavors! I tried the choco pb and it was so good but I decided I wanted a fruit flavor. I had the raspberry with marshmallow topping and it was delicious!
