Delicious

Went here for an evening last year. The lobster ravioli's are amazing here! It's a little pricey but definitely worth the money!

Great food, Excellent customer service! We ate outdoors in the Garden seating area. Wonderful experience on a 70 degree day!

Nice clean place alright, but the food is overpriced. Gets those 3 $$$ for a reason. Olive oil on table but bread costs money. This sets the tone, house specialities or recommendations did not exist. Paid for the bread, asked for butter. Only pepper from table shaker to mix with the oil. Pork chops had a great presentation, but very... More

A quick solo meal at the end of a long travel day. Surprisingly good wine list (A Wine Spectator award of some sort on the bar wall), nicely turned-out salad del casa, veal marsala, veggies, polenta. Had low expectation based - somewhat ignorantly - on the locale. But I'd take foodie friends here in the future without fear.

I ate here for the 2nd time and don't like what it has become. The first time I ate here it was a BYOB restaurant so you could bring a nice bottle of wine and not pay a fortune. The food and portion sizes have declined since they got a liquor license. You even have to pay for a bread... More

Friends of ours go to this restaurant on their way down to Florida. I had sent an e-mail to make a reservation but they didn't have it.I called before and we reserved. Very friendly welcome and our waiter was very nice. We started with good crostini for my husband and fennel salad with oranges which was not very tasty. I... More

Just had dinner at Piatto. Ordered a salad and pizza Quattro and some veal Marsala. While the salad was o.k., the pizza was definitely frozen. Impossible to find 4 cheeses on this piece of frozen cardboard. The veal Marsala was breaded with some greasy mushrooms on top. Accomped by some steamed vegetables which included potatoes and some 4 to 5... More

My meal at Piatto this evening was a pleasure. Coming in from the cold, I was warmly welcomed and then treated to attentive and friendly service by Angela. The loaf of bread came out hot from the oven, and dipping it in olive oil was a prelude to great taste. I ordered the house wine, which was offered at a... More

OK I admit this was my first visit and that means things could have gone either way but what an excellent first visit to a place that was on my Carlisle short list. A friend & I dropped in without reservations on Veteran’s Day and the place was absolutely MOBBED. Regardless we were greeted promptly and warmly and offered a... More

The Piatto is located in an historic Civil War home. So, the outside looks quaint. Once inside, the guest is treated to clean fresh white walls, some paintings for sale, eclectic lighting. I had no problem being seated. The waiter was professional and helpful. I ordered the house red which was very nice. The soup of the day was delicious.... More
