Good food and beer! Service is excellent. We actually ate here twice on a recent visit. There are a lot of places to eat but we liked this enough to try it twice and were not disappointed.

There were lots of tables available but we were seated right where all the waitresses congregated and it was also the spot where they dumped the dirty dishes after tables were cleaned - we were surprised none broke since they were literally thrown into the tub making for a very noisy meal. We had the Beef n Guiness and fish... More

This can be a busy place so I tend to go of off hours. Enjoy the selection of beers. Can be noisy and seating is limited. They are doing outside tables now. Food is just average unfortunately.

This pub has the best beer selection in the Mid-State area. Bar food (pretzels, onion rings, french fries) and many of the sandwiches are pretty good. Run quickly away from the fish and chips! Awfull! The shepards pie is not bad either.

My husband and I went here to go somewhere new. The beer was really good, the food was really good, our waitress was excellent and so was the food. I wish we lived closer because we'd be there all the time.

We stopped here while on the road and what a nice find in a charming town. The food was quite good as we went with the house specialites. Homemade chicken pot pie for me, which I devoured, was just enough. Not overwhelmingly big and not small - just right. My husband had their fish n chips which he was was... More

Can't say enough . Great food , cold beer and a welcoming staff. The beer selection is fantastic and I have something different each time we are there. My burger was done to perfection and pub fries with malt vinegar topped it off. Superb. Also would like to thank the manager . I left my hat there and when I... More

Went there for the first time. The crab portabella was fantastic. Cooked perfectly and the crab tasted very fresh. Also ordered bacon & cheddar skins, buffalo chicken dip and the soft pretzels with beer cheese. They were a hit with everyone in our group. This place should be a stop for anyone in the Carlisle area.

I generally hit MCP at least once per week for dinner. The food is good and continues to get better, but it is the beer that keeps me coming back. There are generally several MCP beers on tap along with several of the English pub usuals and maybe ten guest taps. Plus, there must be about 100 bottles available. Good... More

Have only been there at lunchtime with friends but I can recommend it. The food is decent, large portions and fair pricing. Good selection of beer but would be nice to have a larger selection on tap. It can get pretty crowded around lunchtime but the service has always been quick and friendly.
