First time gettingvtake-out from here so didn't know what to expect. Besides a longer wait than expected (25 min), my family was pleased with the taste of the food. My husband wanted a little more chicken in his dish, but other than that, it was...good. We will definitely be ordering again!More

This was my first time at this restaurant which is in a dingy strip mall. They have two large signs outside, one above the other that says China Palace and Palace China. Not sure which is right. It has a decent interior, but I was...the only one dining in the 40-seat dining room. They seemed to have a good takeout business. Their menu offerings are smaller than most Chinese places. My order was the boneless ribs (Small - $6.25), chicken wings ($5), beef sticks (4- $5.25) and steamed chicken with mixed veggies ($8 sans the chicken, read below). What I Liked: - The price point for the boneless ribs was good and they were not fatty - The beef sticks were a good value for the price point and not over salted - The variety and texture of the steamed vegetables What I Did Not Like: - My server did not speak or translate English well - The chicken wings were very small and very deep fried. I ate one which had very little detectable meat and when I went to eat a second one it had a clear full bite mark out of it! Whhhhaaattttt! I called the server over and showed her the bite mark and animated it as well and finally got her to say “you no want” ... YES, I NO WANT! - The beef sticks were tough - There was no chicken served with the entrée! By the time the server resurfaced I was done with the entrée and told her about the missing chicken. Not sure if she took ownership or thought it was a miss by the kitchen because we had a failure to communicate. - The steamed vegetables were dominated by broccoli My Wing Tut rating is 2.9/10 Wingyptians, landing this place at the #24 spot on the list of 25 restaurants I have had wings at in the Carlisle area since February 2019. My overall rating placed this restaurant at #66 of the 73 restaurants I have eaten at in the area since February 2019. Note I had stomach issues for several days after eating here.More

My family is visiting Carlisle for the first time. On Christmas Day. When almost all American restaurants are closed. Family of seven order different meals that were described as: “plenty”, “filling”, “large”, “very good”, and “let’s come back”. From Orange Chicken to Cashew Chicken, the...options are plentiful along with the portions. We have left overs to eat during our late-night games. The location is clean, staff attentive, and prices very reasonable. Palace China. Thanks for making a great Christmas present.More

None of the old decorations have changed since my last review a year ago. The staff are still friendly and greet you with a smile as you enter. Tonight we ordered wonton soup, egg drop soup, steamed dumplings, shredded roasted pork with Broccoli, and pork...fried rice. We had to request the hot tea, as they no longer bring it unless asked for. The food was delicious, as usual.More

When we are craving Chinese food, Palace China is where we go for pick-up or eat-in. The staff are friendly, courteous. Love their tea, Wonton soup, pork fried rice, and teriyaki beefsticks. We often order their crab rangoon, egg rolls (or spring rolls), and Mongolian...beef. Clean restaurant and tiny bathroom. Old Chinese decor, needs a little upkeep.Lighted menu's pictures are faded; needs new photos.More

I ordered via BringMethat. The restaurant did not confirm my order, so I had to call them. The restaurant confirmed delivery in 40 mins on the phone. Then I get a message from BMT saying that the restaurant cannot deliver as they have no driver....So me waiting 45 minutes just to hear my order was cancelled... unsatisfactory.More

The breaded chicken in my sesame chicken lunch combo was of exceedingly low quality.. It was stringy, dry, overcooked, overbreaded, rock-hard yet hollow, hard-to-digest garbage. I don't hold very high expectations, I wouldn't feed this to my dog.

This used to be a fun quick pretty good dinner place. convenient and acceptable. Tonight's food was greasy, unappetizing, and poorly presented. no taste but the grease. And in a restaurant that had just 2 tables occupied the service was awful. never again.

The title probably says it all. I did not mark it as Terrible because we were in there at about 1:00pm and for them it was apparently the end of their lunch. So maybe if you got there at lunch it was hot and flavorful....It was a lunch buffet with very few items left out of a buffet bar that was limited already. The good was that it was not expensive. About 7$ a person. The restaurant is cozy and decently kept. Then there is the food. The dishes tasted the same. The hot and sour soup was tasteless other than a mild chili flavor. The fried food had been fried a long time ago and was oil soaked, the filling tasteless. There were no bowls for soup, the server had not even noticed. Most of the trays were empty. The service was non existent except for the initial connect. Not sure if you know that sick feeling when you eat something your body does not know what to do with. That was the rest of my day. I am glad I only had a four hour drive after stopping there. Needless to say I will not be back there.More

On the last night of our road trip, we decided to get some take out to bring back to the Days Inn where we were staying. A quick check on Trip Advisor brought us here. We often find a dearth of vegetables eating out regularly...on a road trip, and found that Chinese restaurants offer the best chance for greens. We weren't expecting "authentic", American adapted Chinese food while different, can be just as good. What we got was extremely disappointing. Special chow mein had no noodles, the pork and green beans was made with dry slices of previously cooked char siu, the Sechuan dish had no heat, the broccoli beef...I could go on, but what was really outstanding, was the similarity in flavour of all, I mean ALL, the dishes. Yes we got the veggies we craved, but most of the meal was tossed after being picked over at the motel. The real kick in the head came when we arrived back at the motel, and found no napkins or utensils in the bag. I guess we were supposed to pick them up ourselves, but have rarely ordered take out, we did not know, nor were we told.More

We recently had to find a new Chinese place to eat since two of our favorites have shut down. We gave Palace China a try and were pleasantly surprised! The food was very good - you can order out or eat in the small restaurant....I opted to wait for my food to take out and it only took about 10-15 minutes and it was quite busy. You can call ahead. I noticed they have a small buffet available every day at lunch - will definitely have to try that. The food was fresh, hot and they were very friendly. Definitely will be back!More
