I was traveling to the area and needed a place to meet up with friends from the Harrisburg as well as Chambersburg area. Carlisle was a short commute and Momma Spriggs was the place to go. The menu selection is very wide ranging and the meals tasted great. The prices were reasonable, and best of all the service was OUTSTANDING.... More

Awesome service, awesome food, awesome atmosphere! This is an upscale sandwich shop with very reasonable prices. Trip Advisor wants me to say more. Awesome service, sandwiches and ambience. Try the Reuben Burger.

Mama Spriggs is our favorite casual dining destination in Carlisle. The ambiance is elegant and serene, and the owners make their customers feel like part of the family. All staff members are attentive, friendly and efficient. The food is freshly prepared and always delicious. The salads, soups and Friday fish fry are particular favorites. Best stewed tomatoes I have ever... More

Momma Spriggs is a modern take on the classic family restaurant. We've always received excellent service and the food is delicious. The soup has missed the mark on a couple occasions but don't let that sway you. The atmosphere is classy but still comfortable. A great find in Carlisle!

We live just a few blocks from Momma's and eat there at least a couple times a week for lunch. Their soups are made in house and are delicious! Same for desserts! In fact, anything on the menu that we have tried has been tasty. Service is always friendly and food arrives quickly. Whenever we have guests in town and... More

On the heels of Thanksgiving, while visiting my brother's family, or two families with four boys ten and under, enjoyed a great dinner. The nachos were quite good with a twist with homemade potato chips...definitely a large portion! My wife enjoyed the life is gouda, while I enjoyed the parmesan haddock. Both had lots of flavor and were not dried... More

I've been here a few times now and I haven't been sorry yet. Their soups are always really, really good. Their salads are great, burgers are juicy and delicious, and their home made potato chips just add to the meals. The only thing I would mention is that the fish tacos aren't really tacos. It's like a burrito of chopped... More

Decent place to eat very close to the I 81 and target. Went here sunday morning and only had a 10 minute wait. Seated about 10 minutes after arriving. Love when the host/hostess does not lie to me. Ordered the typical sausage, eggs, hashbrowns and toast. all good, sausage had a nice taste. the wife wanted sausage gravy but they... More
