Our family was in Carlisle several months ago and found Cafe Bruges almost by accident. It was so good that we couldn't wait to return. Last week we had another opportunity to dine there, and it was every bit as good as the first. The selection of beers is outstanding. The atmosphere is wonderful--wood floors, no-nonsense table settings, and a... More

It is that! A rousing, noisy, delightful experience. Oh, yes, the food's great, too. Go early for a more intimate experience, but later for the full hit.

Love this restaurant despite getting a brand new server 2 times. The food is wonderful! The beet salad is with the trip by itself. If you like beer, they have a crazy selection.

We came here to celebrate a birthday. The food is fun- husband enjoys the rabbit and Grandma prefers the quiche. Frits are fantastic as is the cheese plate and muscles. Daughter prefers the lamb burger. My group enjoys the variety in the flights of beer. Personally, I prefer the grapefruit brew. Service has been very good each time we have... More

The food is great and the frites are the best. Family always order the Bruge Burger and mussels. Never disappoints.

Food was good but overpriced. Needs a better draft beer selection. Worth the visit but other places in Carlisle are better.

If you like Belgian beer, this is your place. The restaurant has a relatively limited menu but here seems to be something for everyone.

This place is known for their true import Belgian beer. It's expensive, but you'll know where your money went once you drink it. 1 beer is equal to about 2-3 regular beers in alcohol content. The food is really good, and you must try their fries, or frites, while you're there.

Sunday brunch in amazing. The food is delicious and fresh. The beer menu is extensive. I'm not much of a beer drinker but decided 'when in Rome...' I explained to the waiter what kind of beer I like and he customized a flight for me that was soooo good. Undoubtedly, this place is pricey but as an occasional extravagance you... More

Being Dutch and having lived most of my life close to the Belgium border, I have to say this resaurant has a real Belgium/Flemish menu. We had the chees croquetes as astarter and the steak frites as a main. The atmosphere was realy good and lively and we enjoyed our food. My husband enjoyed the broad selection of beers. The... More
