Friday night out for dinner with friends resulted in a trip to this place we have been hearing about. Like most places on a Friday evening in our area, there was a small line. Not to worry, there was a great pub next door to pass the line time (read my review on Alibi's)! Cafe Bruges is a one of... More

Beer lovers and gourmands alike will find something to love about this unique restaurant. Belgian-style entrees are highly recommended, but if you want to go just for a burger - do it! Just make sure you sample the frites (fries) - they are amazing!!!

We found this restaurant while attending the recent Corvettes at Carlisle event. We ate here twice during our 4-day stay in Carlisle. Excellent select of Belgian food and beer. The staff was very friendly and the food was soooooo good. Finally a restaurant that serves real food with real taste. My wife and I both made the comment we had... More

This is great spot if you are a beer lover. Although the beer is quite pricy and the draft is served in a demi - tas , order by bottle! Food was quite good and it was clean.

This is a very atmospheric cafe in the City of Carlisle. We decided to do Sunday brunch before going on our tour of the Carlisle Army Heritage Center. We were seated immediately by the hostess. The Cafe was bustling with happy diners, many of them in large groups at their tables. After looking at the menu we both ordered egg... More

My wife and I really enjoyed this restaurant. Our meals were excellent and the Belgian ale selection was surprisingly broad. I opted for a flight of beer. Atmosphere inside was nice, felt kind of like an authentic pub. Our server was excellent and answered all of our questions on both the food and types of ale on tap. We ordered... More

Travel in PA a lot and Carlisle is the half way point. This is definitely our new rest stop. Leek torte was top shelf. Mussels were high quality and perfect seasoning. And of course the frites with sauce, get them no matter what else you order. Staff is as pleasant as they could be.

Per the recommendation of a friend, I ordered the lamb burger and a flight of beer. I was very pleased. Good food, good service. Only problem was the temperature of the restaurant…super high air conditioning!

I went for dinner on a Sunday evening. The restaurant was not busy and I was seated immediately upon arrival. My food was wonderful. I started with the Belgium frites and curry ketchup, which did remind me of frites I have eaten in Europe. My main course was the pan-seared salmon which was delicious. Staff was great and service swift.... More

Very busy place, you should plan on a wait. Food is tasty and portions are reasonable sized. Beer is there focal point, food complements it well. A little pricey. I recommend the chocolate mousee
