The location is very easy to find. Ample parking, although sometimes unclear where exactly to park.. The interior is average clean. Not all parts of the restaurant have a view. The back area is a bit crammed. When compared to other Authentic Mexican Restaurants, I find Ray Azteca© average on overall food taste, although the complimentary chips and salsa are... More

I love the chips that you munch on while you wait! I also love their fried chimichanga, and their ray azteca meal. Their rice and fried beans are also very good!

The food is excellent, from the chips & salsa, to my favorite...Mole Ranchero. I haven't had a bad meal here, my whole family loves this place. The only negatives are tight seating and tight parking...but the food far outweighs those issues.

Food was good, but could have been hotter. Good service and a nice atmosphere. I had a cheese quesadilla and a beef enchilada served with rice and beans. Enchilada sauce was dark and on the thicker side. It was all pretty tasty.

I had my husband bring me here for my birthday dinner. I like Mexican food, but it's not his favorite. The parking situation has garnered a few poor reviews, We went on a Wednesday around 6pm and the parking lot was not full and it was paved. It is a pretty small place but not like you're sitting on top... More

As authentic as you can get in our little town of Butler. Friendly service, food selection awesome. Something for everyone. The homemade salsa is over the moon good.

Best Mexican food in Butler with some nice additions to the expected. Especially like the chicken mole poblano.

Rey Azteca is my favorite restaurant in Butler. The staff is friendly and courteous. The food is fantastic. I haven't had anything on the menu that wasn't prepared well. And unlike most Butler, well Pennsylvania restaurants, when their menu says something is spicy, it is spicy. The price is extremely reasonable. The only negative is the size of the restaurant... This is NOT Tex-Mex! This is a true example of Mexican food. Speedy service! Having lived many years in the Southwest, we truly enjoy and appreciate the food prepared at Ray Azteca. We visit this restaurant at least every other week. My only criticism is that they need to relocate to a larger venue to accommodate larger crowds. Just make... More
