Nice pub in Bryn Mawr

Stopped by for a quick lunch. Had their Chicken Pot Pie which was a big meal. Nicely prepared. Tasted delicious. Would go again when in the neighborhood.

Have been going to the Grog for years they have excellent food and they have a great seasonal menu. The burgers are my favorite and their onion soup is the best I ever had. This place has been around for a long time and it seems that they have figured it out. My go to place to enjoy with friends.

The Grog is our to go place to eat. They make the BEST hamburgers around and the Cheesesteaks are great - no need to go to Philly! There is a wide variety of menu items and the menu is vegetarian/vegan friendly. The wait staff and bartenders are excellent!

The bacon cheeseburger sliders were so good, moist, delicious, and a big beer list to go along with the food.

My dining mates and I had just been to a cheese and wine tasting event at another restaurant but wanted to get away and have a couple of beers and something more substantial to eat. Someone suggested the Grog and we all agreed as we had all been there before and had had a good time. Unfortunately, this wasn't one... More

My wife, son (a local area college student), and I ate upstairs. While there were many options for both things to drink and things to eat, the former were much better than the latter. I had a beef stew, my wife the chicken pot pie, and our son had a Philly cheese steak. Each of the dishes offered plenty of... More

Had lunch in the bar downstairs recently with a friend and it's a great little place. The seating was a bit un comfy but I'm picky about that. My vegan burger was awesome, good fries too. Friend had chicken pot pie, which to be honest, I thought, really? in August? How good could it be? Wow, it was delicious although... More

The Grog is my "go to" place for a burger and a beer. To be honest, everything I've eaten there had been good, so don't be afraid to try something other then a burger. I wouldn't say they're mixed drink kind of place. Also, it's really small and can get crowded when school is in session.

We love The Grog (maybe a little too much!). We only go on days Cheryl is cooking, which is most days. The food is just delicious!

My wife and I had been running errands an were trying to figure out dinner. Saturday night just this side of 7pm and she, in the mood for a burger, suggested The Grog. Learned that they had a 2nd floor dining room with another bar. We got seated right away; ordered and enjoyed one of the best burgers we've had... More
